Great restaurant for large groups, with friendly, attentive, staff. Food served quickly and to a high standard, even during busy times. Plenty of options for vegetarian and vegan diners.

We came in for my daughters 4th birthday (she loves pizza), I had called the night before to check we could bring a cake with us, and the person on the phone was so cheerful and enthusiastic in reassuring me that would be more than ok. On the day the team were friendly, attentive, patient while we tried to decide what we wanted and generally made us feel welcome and at ease. They bought my daughter?s cake out with the candles lit and sang happy birthday to her, and were very complimentary about the cake (made by myself). Probably the best visit I have had here! Thank you.
Only minor, minor negative was the light blinding me where I was sat because of poor positioning.

Arrived at lunch time and was only me and my son in there. They wasn't ready to serve and we waited 35 minutes for our food. The food was very good. The place was filthy. Food and grime on the floor and food and other stuff on the chairs.

We haven?t been to a pizza express in about 10 years?. Disappointed ?? just not what we remember. Over £75 for. Family of three substandard lunch huge regrets at the expense for substandard pizza.

I came to this pizza express about a month or so ago now and i was really impressed. the food was amazing and as a wheelchair user, the treatment from staff was amazing, making accommodations for me to sit somewhere that would be comfortable for me. service was timely. would definitely come again

Had a really fantastic evening with the family tonight. The service was extremely good and the team went above and beyond to make our night special and memorable. The food was its usual solid standard and we?ll definitely be back. Loved it, so thank you to all.

The food we had was good and normal Pizza Express standard, but the service was so slow. It was probably the longest that I have waited for food in a restaurant/café for the last 10 years (the main course, I mean. The starter was pretty quick). Our waitress for most of the meal also seemed unimpressed by us or our order or maybe she just didn't want to be there. I think the manager eventually came and took some dirty plates away as our waitress left the dishes on the table.
The manager helped us at the end too and she seemed nice and attentive and some of the waiting staff who maybe started later on also seemed nice (we were there that long, I think a new shift started for the staff!) but I don't know what was going on the rest of the time. My daughter got tired and lay down on me, we were waiting so long. It wasn't even busy. I kept looking around and it was pretty dead in there.
We tend to go to Pizza Express if we have the opportunity because we use the app and get money off that way, the kids like it and it's fast, but we were a bit shocked today. Our local branches in Cardiff are super quick!

We had a pizza party for my daughter on Sunday 6th October and it was fabulous!! Huge shout out to Sam, Chloe and Caitlin who were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble - even rescuing our helium balloons from the ceiling!
All the children had the best time and have been raving about it this morning on the school run, even the parents have been coming up to me and saying how much they enjoyed it. The restaurant was clean, calm and welcoming, the food was delicious. The children were well entertained and the grown ups were looked after too.
I would highly recommend anyone looking for a party venue to try this - you will not be disappointed. It was brilliant! Thank you so much x

It was not that busy and we were seated immediately. Then the service changed. The drinks took a while to get to us. The starter not as long luckily. The main took forever to arrive and by now it wasn't too busy. The pizza was cold and we asked for it to be warmed up, it didn't seem to make much difference! We were honest with the server and said it wasn't a great experience. Sam the manageress came over and she looked very stressed. Sam explained that the table opposite us returned every plate and at the end ran away without paying and even stole the food and plates from the kitchen while the cooks back was turned. She didn't charge us for the meal and was still visibly shaken from the ordeal. Sam and her staff were a credit to Pizza Express.
