I visit this cafe often and am usually very happy. Only a small thing, but was lied to today as was given sunflower margarine light spread with my toast ( normally they have real butter ). When I asked a chap if I could have butter he said they had run out. My husband asked again at the counter and was given real butter. Don't appreciate the lie and why on earth do they think it is acceptable to serve toast with sunflower spread ?

Nice not too large Garden Centre. We tend to go on a Tuesday as it's 10% off for the over 60's Garden Club Members. Nice Garden Cafe too!

Nice garden centre with a great cafe onsite. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and offer plenty of gluten free options.

Such a shame. I was visiting the area on my own with my dog. Went to order a coffee and some food and got told I couldn?t be in the cafe with her. (I was planning on sitting outside with her) I asked how could I order then. Young lady asked if I could tie my dog up outside. I replied no sorry (she?s a 45kg dog so she?d have followed me plus anything I had attached her too.) the young lady said I couldn?t order then. I said it was something to consider for the future as you?re excluding customers. She said she?d pass it to her manager. I started to exit the garden centre and saw a staff member who had greeted us on entry. She asked if I was ok as I had tears in my eyes. I explained what had just occurred and she did offer to order for me. But frankly by then my desire to sit and she a coffee had evaporated. Such a shame as the garden centre is lovely and the cafe offering looked brilliant. Just be wary if a garden centre says dog friendly and you are on your own as you may not be welcome everywhere. (I understand hygiene rules but to be flatly told no your custom is not welcome totally killed my experience)

Great selection of everything for the outdoors. But if you would like a quiet cuppa it's too busy. Great for cake and coffee or soup and a roll, however, on the couple of occasions we have visited for breakfast we have been disappointed with the offerings of poorly cooked food. Today was no exception, sadly
