Called Lloyds call centre to check if it was ok to take a dog into the bank. A lovely young lady said she was sure it would be ok as they allow dogs in Liverpool.
Well. After taking a bus ride into Gloucester we were asked to leave as dogs are NOT allowed in branch.
Could you please advise the call centre which branches do, and don't, allow dogs.

The customer service is terrible, they do not respond with kindness, if you have a problem, they leave it until last, they go first to the other people who are arriving and they leave the people who are waiting last, I have not known such a terrible bank this time I went to create my bank account and they helped me, they helped me with reluctance that I couldn't even create it and they didn't even explain well what the error was so I could fix it. They are people who don't deserve to have those jobs like that because they lose clients.

Today i go in loyds bank to withdraw my money in morning 9am they says you can?t withdraw your money. They ask me too many questions. And say neither you witdraw your money or not be transferred. Than i go second time to witdraw money than they call the police and the police treat me as a criminal. They took my fingerprints as well my frind rozsa (translator) fingerprints. Front of the customers they took the fingerprints of my friend. I never recommend to anyone to open account in loyds bank. To much struggle today after when police find that all things are alright. After struggle from 9 am i get my own money 2pm. Really a bad experience.

I will never recommend Loyds Bank to anyone,
Today 11:30,I support my friend son to translation ,he is adult student and not confident,
He want take cash out from his acount,they don?t let him.After he want close his savings acount,and they call fraud team and the police!2 police car come with 4 officers!?
Police treated me like criminals and take my finger prints,after they let me free !
Bank take my driveing license ,and qeep it for until I ask police ofiicer to get back!
I have horrible experience and I want to legally complain them,the humiliation me front of others customers!The boy who I support he get what he want,and the police support him!Also he very upset and close his Loyds acount!
He open with HSBC Bank!Police told nothing he rong and didn?t understand why bank is reaching like this!
Just you innocent support your friend and Gloucester Loyds Bank nearly arrested you!!!!???????

I have been to the bank in 13.04.2024 and I can say the costumer service from the lady on the desk was disgusting. She was not interested to help at all she was still telling me to do what I need to do online,I tell her I can't do it online that's way I'm there to solve the problem and she saying it's a phone nr to call....etc and if that's not working to come back....))) to come back in waste more time this is a very bad atitudine from someone who are not interested to do a job !

This is the bank I attempted to open an account with a while ago and clearly the service hasn't changed one bit since I was there last . The customer service from one girl hovering in the main entrance area was just disgraceful.She said something along the lines of "there's no point in you doing it in here when you can just do it online"With a sarcastic look on her face I just said forget it, immediately walked down the street to join TSB where the service was brilliant.

Whilst the service was ok once I'd actually got to the teller, the queue was horrendous. Bring back the old days when they had a whole row of staff working, not two working, with 4 swanning about in the reception area with ipads. Just buying a few Euros seemed to be a major undertaking for them, and took ages.What I found particularly troubling was, an old lady in front of me was obviously having financial problems, and the whole queue of people behind her could hear all the details. Surely one if the 4 staff in reception could have taken her into a private room?I've banked with Lloyd's for more than 40 years, so I can't be bothered to change now, but I wouldn't recommend anyone new becoming a customer here.Sadly I've been forced into online banking since they closed the Newent Branch, perhaps that's what they want as the customer service is very poor Gloucester.
