Do not go for mot. Tina, the receptionist is rude and agressive. Halfords have lost a customer for life. Awful experience. And the other man who was in reception and came out with me said he would also never go back there again.

Rang here asking for a glowplug removal and install, was told it had to be diognosed first. Confused as I knew exactly what work was needed I just rang up a different branch who quoted me instantly. The women on the phone was weirdly combative like I had wronged her in some way for just ringing. Super weird experience in comparison with ringing other Halford branches.

Terrible customer service from the lady receptionist AKA 'Tina'. Exceptionally rude, uncooperative and condescending. This appears to be a common theme judging by past reviews.I had to politely ask her to stop raising her voice and talking over me in order for us to arrive at a reasonable solution for the works needed doing to my car. She refused my request to simply change the spark plugs in my vehicle due to X Y and Z works needed doing to the car. When asked if I could consider these works and their associated prices, she informed me that my car would be left in the car park with the keys ready to collect.Halfords should seriously consider hiring another employee to manage the front of house for this branch. Failing that, invest in some customer service and people skills training for Tina, as she demonstrated a significantly sub-par performance in both skillsets yesterday.

Rude desk lady (Tina?)Told I needed new suspension arms, when taken for a second opinion they said they were near perfect. Was also told I couldn't be given a receipt with no reasoning why.

I would give 10 stars if I could. I've visited the branch on Eastern Avenue on 3 separate occasions now, and each time the team have been amazingly helpful and professional. My car has been looked at swiftly and prices extremely reasonable. I would like to say a particular BIG THANK YOU to the lovely lady who runs the garage, for her first class service and attention to detail. I will be booking in again soon as my car battery needs replacing. For efficient, first class service - definitely give these guys a try!!!!!

Very helpful staff.I had my brake pads replaced today under brake for life scheme. There were minor issues with locating the record in the beginning but after calling head office, we got it sorted and got my pads fixed for free.The gentleman at the reception was very friendly and willing to help.Much better experience today at Eastern Avn compared to my previous visits to Halford.

Booked 4 wheel alignment and at the time of booking told they would only be able to adjust the front wheels but that did not matter as you cannot adjust the rears on my car. Report then showed rear needs adjusting and discovered you can in fact adjust so now have to pay again and get someone else to fix. Actual work done fine and staff lovely but useless advice. If had known this at point of booking would have just gone elsewhere. Instead now lumbered with an uncessary bill to basically do the whole thing again. Based on this recommend you go elsewhere where you will receive the right advice and guidance, saving you time and money.

Online booking made it easy to book a slot, got notification ect. Only slight downside was it took 6 hours to do a wheel alignment. I dropped it off and left it as I wasn't in a rush but felt like they left my car for the end of the day when I was early dropping it off. Otherwise fair price and good service.

They don't do MOT retests on the same day. Unless you've got a lot of free time, very inconvenient.
