Went to the cinema receptionist was really friendly and helpful. Seating was comfortable and overall movie experience was good. It's nice to get to see movies that the big chain cinemas won't always show. Good value for money too.

Nice venue, friendly staff. Minus 2 stars because there doesn't appear to be any air conditioning which made the gig I attended very hot.
The owner also commented saying there's free water to help with heat as if this solves the problem.
First off, it's a legal requirement to provide free drinking water where alcohol is served.
Second off, this doesn't help when the place is packed and you can't get to the bar.
The venue needs air conditioning and probably makes enough money to put it in but doesn't want to.

Good, intimate venue that seems to be attracting some good acts. Only downside is the layout where traffic for the hall, bar, merch stands and toilets tend to converge in a small area.

My partner and I went to see an NT Encore performance of Prima Facie. Incredible play about a very serious topic about a woman who is sexually assaulted. Sadly the performance was spoiled by the very loud rock band performing in the room next door. This completely ruined our experience of watching the play and prevented us from being fully immersed in the performance. Not sure who organises your diary but for future reference, it is not appropriate to show a serious play about sexual assault on the same night as a rock band performing in the next room.
Also, two people were permitted entry into the play 10 minutes after it had started. And another 2 people were permitted entry 20 minutes after the play had started, disturbing it for the rest of us. Section C of your Terms and Conditions state that "Latecomers may be refused admission or be admitted at a suitable point, depending on the nature of the performance." Clearly Guildhall Gloucester have difficulty adhering to their own T&Cs, as neither of these restrictions were applied to any of the latecomers, despite their admission disturbing the experience for others. A member of staff continued to talk very loudly outside the door after the play had started. 25 minutes into the play the rock band started playing, which continued throughout the performance. We shan't be returning to what is clearly an amateur venue lacking any professionalism. It is beyond disappointing that customer experience and enjoyment was not a priority. A formal complaint has been submitted.
