We did not stay in the B&B as we stayed next door ate breakfast hier everyday and ate in the evenings as well! Excellent breakfast with as much tea and coffee as you can drink, staff are lovely and so helpfull had the most wonderful fish and chips one evening would recommend to every one . We booked this b&b as it was near to two places we were visiting. Finding it was easy with a large car park opposite the pub. Basic local pub with outstanding food. We don?t drink so can?t say about the beer however there were a lot of locals who enjoyed it so that speaks for itself. The room was immaculately clean with plenty of tea, coffee etc available in the room. Fresh milk from the bar when open. The shower room was fresh and easy to use. The room had plenty of hanging space for clothes. The bed was very comfortable with crisp linen and a comfy duvet. Breakfast was an exceptional meal. Cereals juice and a choice of cooked breakfast. Even the small breakfast was large! Outstanding value for money. Will definitely visit again.

In the area for family commitments, so dropped in for lunch. We were advised that due to a group booking there was a delay in food service, which was fine. Found there was a great back garden and luckily the weather was favourable. The food was very good. Staff communication and service was excellent. No issues, will return in the future.

The slim older women who works in here with dark/red hair I've caught twice now doing drugs in the bathroom, she works and basically lives in here and I no longer want to take my family here which is a shame because it's looking better than it ever has but the way it is ran, the constant staff changing, chris abusive or asleep on the bar. It's honestly a shambles, be lovely too see it back in good hands asap!

Good food. Portions were large, mini breakfast was more than enough for us! We're willing to cook off menu to accommodate young baby who is weaning.Lovely service and excellent staff.Couldn't fault anything.

The breakfast is really very nice. The choices are fairly standard English breakfast but can be sized up or down and they took care to cater for allergy. The chef came out to ensure the waitress had taken the right information as she confused allergens. Was reassuring to visit with allergy children.

I called in here for a meal and drink. I have to say I was most impressed. The service was excellent and attentive. Especially a young man who took our order. He was polite, helpful, amusing and very competent. He is a credit to your team. There was also another young man and women who were also friendly and helpful. The menu had a good choice from the specials board in addition to a standard menu. The food was very tasty. The pricing was resonable. To the left of the pub there was more of a drinking area with many young people enjoying the weather that day. On the right is a pleasent seating area accessed by 2 steps with tartan patterned chairs which was the dining area. I would definitely eat here again. There is a car park on the opposite side of the road.

We?ve just stayed here to attend a wedding at nearby Elmore Court and it was just perfect. A warm welcome from the staff, who helped us organise getting to and from the wedding venue. Able to come in after hours. Clean and tidy room with tea and coffee making facilities and a nice en-suite. Comfy bed. Quiet through the night. Breakfast was truly wonderful, a tasty and ginormous veggie breakfast with a large accompanying teapot. Would definitely recommend and we?ll look forward to staying again. Thank you!

First time I been in here. Nice busy pub. Staff friendly. They have a good selection of Real Ales and other drinks. They do food and also do breakfast every day. They have a beer garden. Also big screens to watch sports. This is situated in Quedgeley gloucester

Breakfast and Sunday lunch, can only be described as best around. I live close to Friar Tucks on Bristol road and would not use anywhere else as excellent value and excellent service . Easy access and easy parking what else would you want. DON'T BE SHY GIVE IT A TRY. Dave Hall

I really did love this place, chris gave it a new life. For a few months it was brilliant- this summer!, staff were amazing! Couldn't fault it and loved all the freebies and £1 any drink deals not many places do that anymore due too " responsible drinking laws" and red tape. It was brilliant but recently the staff have changed and alot are very undesirable. Seem nice enough just very unprofessional and there seems to be alot of drugs back in the pub which is expected in any pub! But not from the staff... there is a big lad and a older lady who are always off their heads ... safe to say we can't visit as a family anymore but I will be in for the occasional pint too see if things fix up again

Met friends. Warm, friendly welcome from landlord. You feel valued as a customer, by all working here. Food was a delight with plenty on plate, really good value. We all had ham, egg and chips, with extra bread and butter. An absolute delight! Try it!
