Great pub, plenty for the kids to do with a play area and bouncy castle in the garden. Food was great large portion sizes and the steak was brilliant. Friendly staff and very reasonable priced!
Kid-friendliness: Great outside play area.

We had a meal for the family on the last Friday of the School Holidays.
The place was completely rammed, but the staff coped extremely well, and the food was smashing.
Parking: There's a good amount of parking space

I was really excited to come here as I feel the atmosphere here is welcoming and perfect for children. Generous seating outside and in.
My partner and I ordered food and sat indoors. I always order burgers and chips, so I fancied a change. I had a vegetable tart with salad and new potatoes. My partner had a burger and chips.
Food arrived, and we were asked if we wanted any condiments to which we asked for ketchup and mayo. This did not arrive until we asked again and again. No cutlery (cutlery box at bar empty) we asked 3 times for cutlery. By the time we got any, my partner had eaten all his fries. My food was luke warm. My salad consisted of lettuce, 1 quarter of tomato, half a slice of cucumber, one slither of yellow pepper, one slither of red pepper, and red onion. The tart was lovely, but the crust was super hard. The new potatoes were just that, boiled and plated. My partner loved the burger and fries and has raved about it ever since.
The staff member who brought our condiments and cutlery did apologize, but it wasn't his fault. He was the only one who listened and acted immediately, so thank you.

Popped in for a quick lunch and a pint, very friendly welcome and quick service. Lunch came and we both had ham, eggs and chips. The meal was served and the the server asked if we would like any sauces and we both said mayonnaise and he walked away and promptly forgot and there was only 2 other tables eating at that time. Oddly the plates were not equal and my partner did well with slighty more generous portions which was surprising. The food was good and I would visit again.

End of the working year, sun's shining, the cider's cold - what more do you want sat in the beer garden watching everyone wind down for start of the summer hols? To misquote Franklin just ever so slightly "cider is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy". We'll it might be the cider talking but Fagin's might just have cured my atheism today.
