We were unfortunate enough to buy a faulty washing machine. The service that has followed from curry?s has been diabolical. This evening, three members of the team lied to us about the replacement they sold us, to get us out of the door before closing. They assured us it was perfect and that the ?imperfect? sticker had just been added by mistake as a way of reserving it for us!!!?? We?ve just returned from our fourth trip into Gloucester, with a second knackered washing machine. Feeling totally done over by deceitful staff.

Good choice of cookers in all fuels. Staff available to ask questions.

Usually use online companies but for once they had what we needed. In fairness the service was faultless and delivery was on time and good.

We visited Gloucester store yesterday to look at TV?s as ours stopped working. We were helped by Dominik who absolutely wow?d us with his advanced knowledge of all things AV! He could probably be on Mastermind! As two guys that are tech-savvy, it was obvious immediately that Dominik has studied and learned everything there was to know about the TV?s on the market and the comparisons between them all. He made the decision incredibly easy in what would otherwise have been a minefield, and was not at all pressuring, just incredibly helpful. He also made sure the box would fit in the car before taking payment! And after we had been served, he waited while the TV was brought to us and then his colleague helped us get it in the car. Unbeatable service!

I went to Currys in Gloucester to look at laptops. My request was simple enough but the experience was woefully lacking. The chap on the support desk had to get someone to help me, he spoke to a mgr who got an assistant to help. I told him I wanted a laptop that I would simply use for browsing, email, the odd spreadsheet and a fingerprint reader. He seemed perplexed and had to go and ask. He returned saying that there were a few but what did I want the fingerprint reader to do? Secure Logons to my bank and other sites I replied. He had to go away again, returning only to show me their 2in1 range which is simply touch screen technology. I have already got a 5 yr old laptop with a fingerprint reader so why is it so hard? I gave up and left. Their sales assistants know nothing about the products, surely a basic need when in sales?

Very slow service, has been the same for years but not much option to shop elsewhere locally.

We went to Currys to buy an iPhone. We went to get the SIM at Vodafone, then went home. Despite the phone being on charge all night, when we woke up this morning, due to the lighting, we noticed scratches on the phone! We called Curry's number and the automated service told us to go back to the shop it was purchased at. We looked at Curry's policy and there is a 30 day return or exchange policy for items you are not satisfied with.
At the shop, we spoke to a member of staff who had little to no knowledge about this and called his passive aggressive manager. I made it evident we knew about the 30 day policy as we were well in the criteria; only having the phone for around 24 hours!
He eventually gave us an exchange but was getting on like he was doing us a favour (typical). The staff made it evident that they were talking about us as they were shaking their heads and looking as we walked out through the door. What lazy, brain-dead degenerates would assume we get anything out of coming right back to the store to exchange a phone? Do they think we scratched it and also damaged the box?
The new phone was in good condition, although you can see that this box had also been mishandle! Might need a change of procedures or change of staff!
I have nothing against Currys, but I wouldn't recommend going to this store in particular as the staff are unwilling to actually do their jobs!!

This is a very large store with not a lot of selection. I?m sure it?s good if you want to buy a major appliance, but for something as simple as a computer mouse or a rice cooker, there were surprisingly few options.

We went into the store in Gloucester on Saturday 17th of May and purchased a new fridge freezer and gas cooker a delivery date was set there and then for the fridge freezer but I was told that someone would call me the next day to arrange the delivery date for the cooker. After waiting for a call I eventually called the store myself after work on Monday where I was told the cooker wasn't in stock. Again I was told someone would be in touch. I called back on Wednesday to Eventually be told it was to be delivered on Sunday 25th of May between 7 - 11am . I received a call from the driver at 7.50am saying they were 20-30 minutes away. After waiting over a hour I decided to call the driver back only to be told they couldn't get their vehicle to our property because of a low bridge so they had just carried on with their deliveries elsewhere = no courtesy call to ourselves explaining the situation. Strangely enough the fridge freezer was delivered on Thursday 22nd with absolutely no problem?. Having got no joy with the delivery driver I phoned the depot and the first person I spoke with tried telling me that he had checked and there was no other way to our property? Obviously there is but I was put back onto the driver who suggested that I met them and put the cooker IN MY CAR!!!. I phoned the depot back and fortunately got to speak with Grant who actually started sorting things out. So I was assured it would arrive the next day Monday 26th, true to his word the van pulled up at 8am and the lads were great BUT when they unwrapped the cooker in the back of the van it was damaged. Even though it's getting delivered tomorrow Tuesday 27th it's been a absolute joke from start to finish. Definitely my last purchase from Curry's.

Had a gift card as a present so after going on the website to check if I could get what I was looking for, I popped in around 10:30 on a Friday. Wasn?t very busy so when I walked in and stood 10ft from two members of staff who were stood chatting and looking on their phones I had hoped they might greet me and I could get some assistance as I didn?t know where the item was and had a few questions. Nobody acknowledged me so I started to wander over to what I thought was the right department. Found the item I was looking for and had a look at a few options. Probably in the store for over ten minutes now and still none of the staff bothered to show any interest in me. Ended up googling a few things and made my choice.
Went to pay and was greeted by the grumpy face of a mature lady with long grey hair who looked like she had been sent there by the government or she would lose her benefits. I explained I had a voucher and would pay for the rest of the cost with cash.
I don?t think a word was said by her as she took my voucher and tried to scan it. It didn?t seem to be working so she started to get visibly frustrated and started muttering under her breath, didn?t speak to me at any point but certainly made her feelings clear about how unhappy she was dealing with me and my £100 voucher. After trying 3 times (still nothing said to me) she just looked up and shouted someone?s name who walked over. This characters first words were something like ?oh god I hate these (gift vouchers) I wish we could refuse these? great opening salvo as I stood there being ignored. The next couple of minutes these two chatted amongst themselves while scanning repeatedly without success. We had to move 3 tills down to keep trying and I think the only thing said to me was ?3rd time lucky? when we got to the last till.
I was then told, ?we don?t accept these and our system is down? I asked if I should try a different branch and was told ?don?t know? I said that I had checked on the website and it confirmed they are accepted the vouchers? I was told that he wasn?t sure and the system was down. I asked what my options were? I was told to pay for the item on my card?? I said the only reason I was here was due
To the voucher.
I thought the service and experience was that useless I called up the Curry?s customer service number. When I eventually got through to a human I don?t think I have ever spoken to someone who gave off ?I have absolutely zero interest in anything you?re about to tell me? vibes in my entire life! Anyway I explained my issues and was told I would get a call back in 5 working days.
Fast forward to 10 working days later I called again as I hadn?t been contacted. My second phonecall was with I think the member of staff who must have trained the first customer service representative 10 working days previously as she gave zero sh#t to anything I was saying and doubting that I had in fact called the week and a half before (I had taken the 1st persons name and noted the time and day) so I repeated it all again and was told I would get a call back.
I did get a call back and the only plus point was the manager I spoke to who sounded like I was the 23rd person that day who was complaining about the service experienced.
Bought the item I wanted online and it came 48hrs later.

Awful customer service. Waited 20 min to see members of staff, then duty manager Alan said about short of floor staff. He also mentioned Ebra ke Debra but he can't produce more staff to serve. Seems like he is in a power trip & so unprofessional service despite his age and position.
