Had a meal here recently as family were staying at the Premier Inn next door. It is very tired and shabby looking, carpets are stained as is the upholstery on the chairs, toilets need upgrading,the gents was so dirty that a family member went back to his hotel room to use the loo. Food was OK, but below average and quite pricey and took a long time to come. This is out of the way so need to make an effort to get there so I think it really needs to be worth it. At the moment it isn't.

Me and my family come for Christmas dinner and was really disappointed with the food . The starters wear disgusting it wasn't a fash salad we cude still test the duart as it wasn't washed properly. The Christmas dinner wasn't cooked properly the vegetables wear under cooked the rost potatos wear burt we cude not eat it what a wast of money. We won't be recommending or coming back. So not weath it.

We visit this restaurant fairly frequently but the quality of the food this afternoon was very poor. A noticeable drop in the quality of the product. The carpets and maintenance of the bathroom is also shocking, a shame when effort has been put into refurbishing the rest of the restaurant. In addition my points have expired just earlier in the month. Service was great though. Overall very disappointed.

They don't have chicken nuggets on the menu but the chef sang which was entertaining and they had chicken balls and the smash the igloo dessert was really good

Graham was amazing as a server! However the food was absolutely terrible tonight. Steak was over cooked..mushy peas and chips were cold and the prawns were also cold. so many complaints from everyone in the restaurant tonight every customer was complaining. The chef really done the pub so bad tonight needs to be looked at

We visited today 8th December 2024 , we was there as they opened 12noon, there was six of us altogether, we ordered a Christmas dinner and it was awful not very hot the veg undercooked and the turkey was dry, we had Christmas pudding with brandy sauce and that had been microwaved it was terrible ! It was not a cheap meal we spent over £120 for all six of us ! So disappointed never again
