Awful, two rude staff members ganged up on me and berated me for wanting to speak to a person rather than use a machine, pretty much had to beg for my deposit receipt so I could just leave.

Unfortunately I'm not satisfied with service. Appeared disorganised I've been waiting for long time and people just continued moving without queries, there is one assistant who was still busy. So, hope it will be better in the future. But this time I don't recommend this company service if you value your time.

Rude customer service agent, extremely condescending and spoke to me as though I was a child. I've been with them for over 35 years now looking to move to another bank.

Had to go to Gloucester branch today, as Cheltenham branch was closed due to renovations.Had to do a bank transfer after a long wait.Special thanks to Louise who was very helpful and very professional.

One single person to be able to make enquires. And that member of staff was very rude and basically told me off for trying to explain what service I need . He did not know about the service I was asking, was reading online and I dared expressing my banking need while he was reading. I felt like a kid being disciplined in school. And imolder than that guy. The second member of staff had a go at me also but did end up being nice and helpful in the end. We live in a crazy work. Do these people get any customer service training? Awful service all together, very defensive, unprofessional members of staff. We do not deserve to be treated like this.

Female staff are rude counter shut and everyone including the elderly are being forced to use machines there is no customer service, last visit they had me going between machines on oposite side of room repeatedly there is no banking serives at this brach anymore go to citencester might as well close this branch totally.

Came in to close my ISA and was told I couldn't. After a brief discussion I was again told I couldn't close it. Contacted head office and 5 days later I got my money. The woman I spoke to in branch needs training on procedures and manners.

Got to say sorry to the member of staff this morning who I hounded about my swallowed cash card. (8th Nov 2022). I was panicked because the machine malfunctioned and card got eaten but I assumed wrongly that they could climb into the back of the machine to retrieve the card ,(I remember them being allowed to do this back in the 1980s when it happened before but that was a while back and I suppose things have moved on). SO SORRY TO THE NICE YOUNG LADY WHO I WAS GETTING STROPPY WITH- YOU WERE ONLY DOING YOUR JOB AND ABIDING BY THE LAW. ??????? and I have given 5 stars for your patience with me thank you jane

I recently moved to the UK and despite having my passport with my skilled worker visa + BRP and a letter from a very reputable employer supporting that I am permanently employed and I have a UK address, Barclays wouldn't accept these. I had chosen Barclays because I have good history with them but after this, I am having to think twice. They want you to have a 3 months proof of residence in the UK - but if I'm to wait 3 months I might as well go to HSBC or Lloyds bank. Very poor and not supportive of foreign nationals moving to the UK. You're losing valuable customers to your competitors. Very disappointed ?

Never enough staff. Banking has taken a back step closing local branches. Having to wait 30 mins+ for a 2 minute query
