Fairness got quick appt today. Not with a Dr unfortunately, with Paramedic Practitioner Jamie , which was a terrible experience I have had in the surgery. He came downstairs , wrong key to door , no apology. . He sat in front of me at a distance which felt like I was to be interrogated. Bluntly said ?what is wrong with with you?? Did he not read my consultation ? He made me feel I was wasting his time and he came over abrupt, unapproachable . I felt uncomfortable and wanted to get out of there as his manner said it all. He did not put me at ease at all and I did feel he didn?t want to be there and I was a time waster.. I struggle with my breathing when talking and really struggled to put a sentence together had he bothered to listen properly. I had a mask on and it was hard for me . I found him impatient whilst I try to speak. He looked at my throat with a pen torch from a distance .How he saw anything is beyond me . Nothing wrong with you, wow ! Just viral could last weeks . I felt he was talking to me like I was stupid.Self care, OTC meds .push fluids which I have been doing as I told him, honey and lemon etcCoughing up thick yellow sputum daily . Couldn?t wait to get out quick enough. He has put me of getting in touch when something is wrong . He couldn?t even crack a smile . Worst appointment ever . I felt I did not matter, that is how it came across, dreadful .No compassion. Thought I might have had Covid thankfully I haven?t. I also felt because I had and told him I had Noravirus few weeks back it , it was like a continuation of feeling unwell despite being told nothing wrong with you .Every patient matters , no not on this occasion..

I waited an hour to talk to receptionist. The man at the front of the queue had been there much longer. The receptionist was not helpful.I left without any success.

Every aspect of this practice is poor! Starting once you walk through the door! This isn't something across all surgery's, manors and general people skills cost nothing!!!

I?ve been repeatedly impressed by the efficiency and quality of care I have received at this practice. I want to particularly thank the prescribing pharmacist team, and the online consultation function. Is the practice perfect? No! But they?re doing the best they can with very limited resources (as I know working in the NHS).Thank You Aspen ? ??

I was a little apprehensive after reading some reviews, but found it clean efficient and all good.

Not sure quite how this place is still open as everyone therein should be ashamed of how poor and useless their services basically are. Heaven forbid you're an actual contributing tax payer that gets Ill instead of a leech that gets everything done and paid for them.Couldn't walk and was basically told they'd expect me, as a usually healthy person, "to get in a car assisted with a crutch and make my way to the surgery" who's car? Moron.Have also had other conditions and such that over the 4 years I've been going here have either never been looked at properly or their other favourite move of just flinging items out on prescription even though had they looked at ANY of your history previously could have seen I would have had a bad reaction to what they prescribed. Should be either closed down or all doctors in their, replaced.

The doctors are very good and helpful. As for the prescription team. They are a joke and are not nice to talk to or deal with.

Aspen medical centre is a joke you phone up. Then you're played the latest give up and die music that's dated. The call ratio waiting time is 45 minutes per patient countdown.and if you're not dead by by the time you through to reception to ask for a striking Dr you're lucky.

Worst surgery in Gloucester for trying to get through on the phone. Caller 19 after 90 minutes on the phone. No wonder A&E is so busy because people can't get through to their Dr when they need them.

First GP I?ve had in Gloucester. Freshly out of hospital and the hospital sent me to the GP to sort a part of my sick note out. I was told that they can?t sort these things out and sent back to hospital where the nurse herself laughed at the fact it was the GPs job to sort it out and they simply couldn?t be bothered. The young receptionist I spoke to barely heard me and my partner out, just seemed outright rude. Never got back to me about my repeat prescription for medication I have an emergency card for due to my condition, had to call in and wait in queues for hours to get through from 2 phones when my medication was running out.
