I absolutely love this place, but the one in Quedgeley has a much better variety of stuff. Just about managed to get everything we needed to make steak dinner which turned out great. Only disappointing thing was they only had 1 member of staff serving. they seemed to have more security guards than they had members serving the customers. Will still continue shopping here though as its local and has most stuff

A formerly brilliant shop has lost its reasons for visiting. 1st it's really cold in there each visit currently. I visit usually early mornings, staff are regularly restocking rightly so but you're made to feel like you're in their way by shopping there. There is a big push to use the self service tills if you don't ha e massive trolley full of goods, well sorry some people like a quick self service option, I prefer to use a manned check out as I'm not given any incentive to scan my own shopping, I don't work there the staff do, open a blooming till Aldi.

Popped into Aldi the other day, just to pick up a few things, no problems with what I needed

In one sense, it's an ALDI like any other. However, the Ledbury and Grovefield Way, Cheltenham stores are just a little bit nicer.

Normally staff great, selection good, but Phil the manager prefers to argue with customers. NO we do not want to use self-service. We do not work there, you do. You are paid to serve customers and without us you do not have your managers job. Nearly 10 staff members on shop floor, customers with trolleys expected to use Self-service.Phil, just because customers use them does not mean they are happy using them. More people are saying no and other supermarkets are starting to remove SS up north. We want to be served by human beings not computers and it's also discrimination against the elderly and disabled.I wrote to you once before and you ignored me.This time I will not be ignored.ALDI UK if you keep abusing your role as a service orientated business we will pay you back in going elsewhere. We do not want to be served by artificial intelligence, we do not need to be shown how to use the SS we choose not to.And as I was told by staff members at this store they were all cut back to basic contracts, staff have already lost overtime hours and if managers cannot see where this is going they deserve to be the first out of the door when corporations look at the bottom line, money. If the computers are taking over your jobs, there will only be a few needed for the shop floor, staff will lose jobs. WILKOs locally went down from 45 to 20 and look where WILKOS is now. Your choice!

Best supermarket in Gloucester.Do NOT go on a Sunday, it is FAR too busy :(One point worth making - their Vegetarian/Vegan ranges are fantastic and growing all the time ?Now, late November, it is full of christmas items ???

The staff are amazing. The only downside is the security guard who follows me on every visit. Seeing as I'm in there most days to pick up essentials I think maybe he would know that I don?t steal yet every isle I go to, guess what? He?s there looking at the shelves and then looking up at me. Twice whilst following me thieves have ran out with product. Although he follows me the store and staff are very personable and are always helpful. Great value for money. Despite being followed on every visit, I guess I will have to put up with a new shadow that I get whilst saving money on all my visits.

Considering they have to deal with customers every day the staff are polite and pleasant. Really glad they?ve got the self checkout tills. The main draw back is the rude, creepy security guard who seems to follow me when I?m in there, I?d have to be a total low life to steal from an Aldi?s
