Always enjoy a good meal at the Globe. However on Saturday, Lloyd and his staff successfully cooked and served 42 2-course meals at my 80th Birthday celebration.. it was an amazing occasion. Every meal perfectly prepared. Enthusiastic comments from every single guest, with special mention of the salmon, the gluten free cheesecake, and the vegan chocolate tart. Thank you so much for a FABULOUS day.

I had been passed this pub and called in on the way from doing the Frome Valley Walkway from Tormarton (the source) to the centre and as it was a hot day this was a welcome break - stayed inside in the shade and had a desert and drinks only - staff were accommodating and would well recommend this pub

We stopped here to break up a long journey and were met with a warm welcome. Caters for families very well, without being too childish! Available high chairs, baby change. The kids playground was good and kept ours (age 1 and 5) entertained for long enough. Garden is lovely, and they had gazebos up providing more shade to a couple of tables, plus parasols on many of the other tables. Just had drinks and chips but would have liked to stay longer.

After regularly going for pints, for food, and for the pub quiz, I took my visiting parents. They loved it too.

The Bar service was very good, and friendly, sat in the extensive garden with beautifully chilled draught Cider , in the lovely Sunshine,,South west facing !,, and enjoyed the company of old and dear friends,,

Great pub, very busy but still got served quickly and had a lovely meal. Lovely pint and ham eggs and chips.

Was part of a large group(13) that dined here on a Saturday evening. Great value for money, large meal sizes and fantastic service. Well done staff! ?
