I'm always on the lookout for a mango curry. I like korma but it gets boring. It's rare to find a mild curry with mango. While looking for Indian restaurants near Henbury I came across Panahar. An absolute hidden gem that's been where it is for many years, I've just never thought about looking at their menu. OMG they had Shahi on the menu which is their Mango curry. You would not believe how excited I was. I had the lamb. Well it was absolutely beautiful. I had chicken Tikka for starters which was the best I had ever had. My husband said his Chicken Tikka Masala Madras Hot was beautiful also. Definitely our favourite Indian takeaway from now on.

Budget curry house in Filton. Good for casual work's dos, which is how I know it. Probably good for couples and casual dining as well. Also do takeaway. Handy and won't break the bank. ?

Me and my husband go there almost every weekend . Food is good , love the chicken curry . Husband loves the south Indian food so it?s his weekend ritual . Recently ordered the Hyderabadi biryani it was very good as well. Go and try it . Service is good and staff friendly as well .

The food was great and the service was too, we came as a large group and were welcomed by all. I had a lamb tikka, and it was cooked beautifully - the naan was also perfect! Big thanks to PJ and the team :)

Absolutely fantastic meal at Panahar on a works do. I ordered the chicken pathia which was just awesome. Their rice and naans were also great and the customer service was top. Cheers guys!

Me my friends came here for the first time and had the best experience. The food was absolutely wonderful and all of the staff were super friendly! 100% would recommend and will definitely return!
We had breakfast dosa,pongal,puri with special chicken curry.
