Staff were helpful. Served water in a dirty glass with all greasy food around it. Yuk. For the price I expected better quality food. The fish and chips was VERY greasy. Pork pie starter was good. My husband's pie was good. This was the second time we have eaten here but wouldnt go back.

Once again Roger?s food didn?t disappoint. I had the pork with black pudding with the smoothest mashed potato ever followed by chocolate torte. Absolutely delicious, thanks Roger and team ?

Just popped in for quick pint, the landlord, Emmy, was brilliant. Joined in on the jokes with me and my mate. gave advice on local area.
Beautiful pub too. Old, rustic, historic. Will definetly come back for food and more time here

Another fantastic out-of-the-blue stop for dinner! We were driving past and noticed on the roadside sign that they just opened for dinner, so we popped in. The food was fantastic food and the staff even more so! Emmy (the owner) was an absolute delight and spent a good amount of time (probably more than she should have but it was greatly appreciated!) just chatting with us and being a wonderful host! Another unexpected stop that turned out to be a wonderful find during our trip here to Britain!

Went here for mother's day, big bunch of us so we couldn't all sit together so there were two separate tables, that's not a problem but when the food was brought out the same plate of potatoes was provided for the table of 6 as it was for 4. So we had to ask for more.
Pate to start was nice but why is there never enough bread.
My meat was tasty but there just wasn't enough of it, others said their food was tasty and would happily return but my portion of pork was not big enough.

Superb. The best food we've had since moving to the area a few months ago. All fresh, properly cooked tasty food. The owners friendly, attentive and fun. A wonderful evening all round. Thank you.

Just want to say that you have a fantastic pub. We enjoyed three visits with you on our short break in the Cotswolds. Your food is gorgeous, and your New Year's Eve menu was perfect. We can't believe what good value it was. We will certainly recommend you to any friends visiting the area, and hope to visit again one day.

Went on a Saturday. I didn?t find this place very welcoming to non locals. Given the other pub options around this area I?d find a friendlier, better atmospheres pub.

We had not been to The George for a few years, not for any reason, just had not got round to it! What a great evening we had at The Comedy Night. The food was great and the service was excellent. A very friendly landlady, who cares about the customers and their needs. We will be visiting again. Recommend The Comedy Evening.
