No food served, proper beer pub with weekly music and evening events like Bingo and quiz.
A charmingly historic pub with beautiful old architecture, from its low beams to uneven floors. Beyond its age, the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, creating a truly pleasant atmosphere. A great spot for history and hospitality!

Home vibes pub!
Great pub, have had a few good nights here. They have pool and darts but doesn?t have a ton of room to move around. The drinks are good, tad bit expensive. Only other complaint I have is the fact that I end up getting different quantities of a drink I always get, for the same price each time. So it?s always hit or miss.
They also have a cat..so that?s honestly why I come back. A game changer.

Traditional English pub with friendly staff and a warm fireplace. I would live here if it was an option built in 1843.

Despite having 'Arkells Ales' on the outside, this is a lager-drinkers' pub. No draught ale at all, so had to accept a bottle. Saddening because it was otherwise a very nice pub.
