Absolutely blown away with the amazing kind and speedy service. Andy was so welcoming and helpful. The refurbishment is beautiful making 2 very cosy areas. We loved playing darts and pool. The darts was free and no deposit required. Andy gave us a shout when our food was ready as well.
It was busy but the tables are spaced well.
Music playing gave a great atmosphere.
The lighting is cosy.
Well done guys beautiful place, great food, drinks delivered to the table. Nothing was too much trouble and the best guinness in Bristol.

Ordered a bowl of pulled pork with cheese chips, started eating it and pulled out of my mouth a corner of a sauce packet which was quiet big after thinking this pork is really unusually hard to bite into. Told the woman as she took the bowl away and didn?t even apologise. I wasn?t looking for a freebie just letting them know I could have swallowed a big bit of a plastic sachet. Put me off the rest

Poor service and small portions

Food took 40 minutes to come out and the portion of my curry wasn?t even enough for a child. Three weeks ago we came and all our food was cold. Thought we?d give it another go and I never again. Picture shows exactly how much Curry you get served ask the guy at the bar that I didn?t think this was a portion of food and was told it?s a set size shame as this is our local since the pub has been Revamped Food has gone downhill

Lovely open plan pub, great atmosphere, bar staff were friendly and very welcoming,we ordered 4 meals which were delicious came out quickly and efficiently, food looked great very tasty and all meals came out hot, I would recommend a visit and we will definitely be back

We ordered at the table, the drinks took 30 minutes to arrive, the food took one hour to arrive after informing the bar we had been waiting for 45 minutes. The food was OK could have been warmer. The waitress did apologise for the lateness of the food.

Very busy pub with plenty of seating wrapped around the centre core. Good selection of food with friendly service. Quality lasagne, steak and ale pie and hunters chicken all washed down with pint of ale. Toilets fairly clean and tidy.

First time since the refurbishment very disappointed regarding the dog friendly pub we had the dog with us as we always do and I am in a wheelchair and the only place we could take the dog was into the bar which has high tables on which I can?t reach there is one low table, but that is stuck right in front of the tv screen so ended up just having a cup of tea as opposed to lunch
