Myself and my visitor from Belfast booked a table with ease and had steak from the Grill menu. Both our rump steaks were cooked to our liking. Lovely large flat mushrooms x 2: grilled tomato with a choice of chunky chips or new potatoes. Option of side dishes to accompany meal are listed on the menu list. Staff were attentive and friendly throughout the meal. Nice crisp Pino Grigio wine and Peroni Zero lager just hit the spot. After our meal we sat in the bar for a coffee to finish. Mood lighting and lovely atmosphere. Will definitely return!

This is a sensitive topic to review. We held a wake here, we wanted it here as it was one of the favourite place?s to eat.
A couple of things which under the circumstances should not have even risen.
The Buffett which was excellent was a finger Buffett, however the quiche was too big to pop in your mouth so people were getting into a mess, we asked for cutlery and was told No! It?s a finger Buffett! A lot of very elderly people was present and we were extremely took back from the staff bluntness and rudeness. We never got given any cutlery.
We catered for 35 however we had more people come which we was told by staff when we booked that they do an ample Buffett so for us not to worry. The 35 plates which they put out ran out and people were waiting. My husband asked at the bar for some more plates and was told again bluntly we only catered for 35! And No! There was ample food so this should not have been an issue. My husband said this to the lady and she went off not happy at all, after a while more plates came out.
We would probably not choose to come here again for a wake, we found the waiting and bar staff rude. This was an extremely upsetting time and we should not have had any upset.

Went for a birthday meal. What a disappointment. Prawns and sauce no flavour not even fresh. Breaded brie not cooked properly and cold. Mains we were given someone else's, took them away and waited a time for our own food. Then fish was swimming in grease, lasagne no flavour burger was OK, salad was dried up not edible. I could make better myself and I'm not a qualified chef....

Went as part of a group of 18 for the festive lunch. Food was great. Plenty of it and all well cooked and presented. Staff were efficient and friendly getting everything out on time. We all enjoyed our lunch and thought it was excellent value. Well done to all the team.
