Couldn't replace my watch battery as he couldn't open the back, didn't have the right tools, scratched the back of my watch in the process. Grumpy shop assistant, tried to upsell battery lifetime service I didn't want. Not what you expect from Timpson.

Friendly gentleman who stayed open an extra few minutes as he was just about to close. Helped me get some uncut keys so my son would stop stealing mine. Can?t thank him enough. 5 star (and beyond) service.

Went to Timpson as i needed a spare key cut for my Ford Transit. It uses what is called a tibbe key of which thousands have been produced since about 1996 . It is very simple to get the code for one of these keys as there are only 6 cuts but unfortunately the guy in Timpson said he couldn?t do it even after giving him the code. So i ended up ordering one online for £20. So I?m afraid 1 star for a very poorly trained employee.
