Not a nice experience today at Cirencester Tesco. Tesco seems to be getting more and more customer unfriendly. I would have called customer service to make a complaint but seems somewhat impossible. I was using the self service isle, the only one there, as it was quiet and i felt someone stand behind me. One of their staff members, probably new as I didn't recognise him. But he made me feel very watched and uncomfortable, so I turned around and said you are making me feel very uncomfortable, I am just trying to do my shopping in peace. He said, I don't understand, so I repeated, please can you stand away from me as I feel very uncomfortable with you, again just repeated I don't understand. I darn't say to him do you mean you don't understand English? As that could be perceived as Racist in today's climate! I tried to talk to him fairly but all he said was I don't understand. Where in the job description does it say to make the customer feel very uncomfortable whilst shopping? and when customer points this out in a calm manner, just repeat I don't understand? Did he not understand English or was he purposely trying to wind me up because I said he was making me feel uncomfortable? I don't know but he has left me feeling uncomfortable with my shopping experience today.

Every time I go there's always large queues at the cash checkouts , the self serve checkouts don't take cash ,thus a long wait if like me you pay with cash - Go to Aldi and they have cash self serve checkouts and staffed tills that are a lot quicker than Tesco's

We go for our Groceries all the time. Well stocked Tesco Extra. The only thing which can be improved is the stock of South Asian foods and a section of Halal meet would be a great addition.

Don't know why but we came during a hot day in July and it felt as though we were walking into an American shopping mall, massive concrete pillers great you as you walk down a covered walk way. The entrance is off to the right of the end of the walkway, it would be nicer if the walkway led directly into the store. The store itself is a single story and has an early 90s vibe to it. The toilets were quite smelly but clean, the tiles on the floor had a lot of black and yellow tape to cover cracks etc. plenty of stock on the shelves and very quick checkout because of the self service.

Well stocked and friendly staff but the heating is ridiculous, makes for a very unpleasant shopping experience. Why is there no air con in the summer unlike other shops which have it on?

Customer service desk takes forever to get served. I've never seen them open more than one till. Staff often more interested in filling up stock than taking money or serving customers.

Excellent Tesco store with a great selection, the store is clean, tidy and looks really nice (probably due to it being in the Cotswolds).

At this time of day (3pm) it was reasonably quiet, had time to browse and pick up some clubcard reductions on some items I've been meaning to get for a while. Was able to go straight to a checkout.
