Absolutely disgusting service
I arrived at lunch time with my 92 yr Nan who is in a wheelchair.The sloppy service from the second we got there until we left was appalling. The waitress was unwilling to let my Nan know what wines they had stating she was busy even though there was only one other person in the building having lunch.The owner was extremely patronising to my Nan who has more decorum and class in her little finger than the sloppy owner .On returning to my Nans care home alot of the staff and residents had similar stories to tell of this place .
Such a shame it's gone downhill as apparently it was once a nice place to go which was always full .It was empty at peak time which just goes to show
Safe to say we will not be going back ..

Food and drinks: We ate in the hotel on Thursday evening Food was lovely Waiter was efficient and helpful Breakfast was very good Nice choice both breakfast and dinner

Stayed two nights midweek. Second time we have stayed here. Good carpark at the rear. Breakfast excellent.

Friendly welcome. Room was clean and comfortable, Only niggle was lack of pressure in the shower. I ate in the bar area. Friendly, attentive service. I had the pork and black pudding terrine to start, followed by the pulled pork and apple pie, with chips and peas, washed down with a couple of pints of local ale. Very good food, prepared on site from local ingredients. Breakfast was eggs royale, again, very good, and the same great level of service.
I'm glad to say that I'm staying there again next week!

We have had an amazing stay here. Family owned and run. Honestly they can't do enough for you. All the little extras are amazing. Always happy to talk and give advice about places to visit. It felt so personal, such an amazing place to stay. Also please please try the restaurant, amazing food, and such a lovely place to eat. Thankyou everyone of your staff. Can't wait to come back.

we (family group) come to this hotel every year, has everything we need for visiting Cirencester. great location, good parking. The staff are most helpful , the rooms are clean and comfortable and the food is good, would recommend this hotel.

Looks a lot better on photos. The building is very sweet and the garden bit/ communal areas are nice, but the whole place could do with a bit of love. We stayed for one night while over for wedding nearby. The walls of the room were a bit dirty and tired looking. Breakfast was incredibly bland. I feel at that price point I was expecting a tad bit more. Very friendly and lovely staff though and overall alright for a short stay.

Divine hotel! All the staff is very friendly and the most beautiful thing is the pub and the outside! Very rich breakfast. I would return!

A comfortable hotel commanding a perfect location in Cirencester. After a good nights sleep, we were served a very tasty full English breakfast. This is a hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.
