Lovely staff doing their best in what must be a challenging time ( medication shortages etc). I?ve always found them to be helpful although have observed customers being unnecessarily rude and demanding.

This chemist went through a tough time, I use it a lot and after some staffing issues I'd like to say this is an excellent chemist with wonderful staff. A lot a patients blame the chemist when actually it's the doctors. Anyway, I'm grateful for your service

I've been using the services of this pharmacy for a number of years. Always friendly, extremely helpful and professional. The past few years due to covid and NHS issues has meant a slower service at times, but never have I had any negative issues with chesterton services.

I have just left the pharmacy after waiting about 30 mins. My prescription was dispensed on the 11.07.22. On collection one item was available, another not, but can be collected tomorrow. The question I have is why wasn't the second item ordered when the first item was dispensed 10 days ago. Others had been waiting a lot longer than me.However this is not the thing that I am shocked and appalled by.Any elderly gentleman was at the chemist when I arrived. He was told by an assistant, possibly a pharmacist, that a drug was not available. He clearly could not hear or understand what was being said to him. He said, but I need to take them daily and I have none left, the assistant said they would be available on Friday or next Tuesday, he appeared concerned by this. He also said that he did not have his hearing aids in.He was told to go to another pharmacy such as Boots and Tesco. He didn't appear to fully hear or understand what was being said. He was not asked if he was able to get to either, he left muttering to himself. In my personal opinion he didn't know what to do and appeared distressed by this.I note other comments about lack of staffing, I counted 8 heads behind the counter. One person came out from behind the counter, with what looked like a lunch box and smiled as they walk into the consulting room.

Chesterton Pharmacy?.Where do We Begin? Well it is a Pharmacy that is Like No Other! On the surface there is Chaos and Misadministration. Work surfaces are piled high with Patients Medication and Personal Details. Medication is supposedly ordered but when Prescriptions are presented there are no items to fulfil the request! Call?s and enquiries from General Practitioners, Nurses and Patients will go unanswered for hours at a time. Walk in Patients and their Carers have to wait to be attended to for time?s that are not only critical, unnecessary, but profoundly unprofessional as well!There are days, if not weeks worth of Invoices that are piled high on work counters that are not only neglected but remain unchecked thoroughly such is the lack of a consistent audit.There are boxes upon boxes of items and dressings that seem to have no patients? Boxes of medicines are piled so high in confined spaces that not only dose it constitute a hazard regarding mobility but a significant Fire Risk as well!The Owner also dose not seem to care that Controlled Drugs are left not only unchecked but left for day?s on the counter without so much as a sense of urgency to secure such Items in the Safe! Also and this is quite Disturbing the Owner actually encourages his Staff to leave Controlled Drug?s in the back of the premises on a rotary under the counter storage shelf.Also and this is shocking too, there are boxes upon boxes of different medications, branded and generic that are open, undated and mixed up! There are items that are out of date that have either been dispensed to patients or there have been near misses! Dosette Boxes are left incomplete when the Sick and the Vulnerable need their medication.There is one Staff Room that is piled high with boxes of medicines. There is nowhere to take deliveries and check off items safely!There is one Staff Toilet for men and women that is not only unsanitary but reeks as much as the Dumpsters of the next doors establishments Fish and Chip Shop! There is no hot water to sanitise your hands!The counters where medication is dispensed is filthy and is coated in thick dust! This is also one of the many hazards in terms of Hygiene of this premises!Also, the Owner is Never True to His Word and is not to be Trusted in a Professional Capacity or any other! If he runs one Premises like this, it dose not bode well for all the others!

This pharmacy used to be good but I went in today asked 2 questions the lady in there was very rude to start off with and wasn't happy to serve me I then asked her one normal question which she replied with "you're being stupid you're only in here to mess around and ignored my question pushed past me went to the other side I then said sorry and she was like get out and was really rude it's awfull there the lady at the till is really rude

Never answer the phone, always have to queue when you go in, nice enough staff but it needs modernising.

Long queues. Under staffed. Staff are lovely and try there best but unfortunately I think the problems run deeper. Closed over lunch yesterday due to staff shortages. Gave me half a prescription last week and said they would order more in. I came in when they said the prescription would be ready, waited 40mins for them to say they still didn?t have it and that it would be here the next day. The next day (another long wait)they said the other half still hadn?t arrived and I would have to try and get it at another pharmacy. Whoever owns this pharmacy needs to update and invest to provide a better service.

I ordered my prescription over 2 weeks ago and went to pick it up. I had to wait 50 mins as they hadn?t made it up and the pharmacist had gone on lunch. Not even an acknowledgment about how ridiculous this was. There was about 10 people who came to get their prescriptions whilst I was waiting, all bar one left and said they?d come back another day. Very poor service and staff that didn?t seem to care
