I?ve dined all over the world, and people in other countries often disparage our cuisine and if we?re honest, for good reason - but I always tell them, if they come to England, they MUST visit the Bull at Hinton.
I don?t understand how it isn?t in possession if a Michelin star - truly world class meals, every single time. The serving staff are charming and pleasant to a fault, relaxed but attentive. Pretty much perfect.
If you?re passing through, it?s a must visit - if you?re not, it?s worth the trip. Amazing seasonal menus, proper good one for real foodies. Get on it.

We're in Cardiff and happily make the hour's drive to The Bull, which is pretty much the perfect country pub/restaurant. Lovely building, good hygiene, friendly efficient staff. But the main draw is the food. Excellent pub grub - well cooked, good ingredients, decent portions, just the right amount of choice on the menu, reasonably priced. You know when people talk about moving out of town, to a village with a post office and a great pub? This is that pub.

We had a fantastic Sunday roast at The Bull Inn in Hinton ? absolutely delicious and generous portions. (Special shout out to the gravy!)
The service was outstanding too, with Rowan looking after us so well throughout. She was warm, attentive and really made the experience special. Five stars without hesitation ? highly recommend!

Best Gluten free batter i have had. Noce stop off onnthe way to Chepstow . Wpuld defo recommend as the food and servixw was fabulois. Great atmosphere

Tiny portion sizes, not much choice on the menu, chewy steak and way too overpriced. Not worth it, we won't go again. Don't get the positive reviews!

Not bad but not good either. Roast were very basic, meat fatty, Yorkshire thin and dry, mustard on the plate like it wasn't a choice. Staff could have been more helpful but looked exhausted. Facilities seems clean, always a plus.

We had a table for 10-12 of us. Food was generally good. Although onion soup was frankly awful !!!
Service / bill management average (dropped since last time) you clearly have young staff but its your responsibility to train them.
No one at any point asked how the food was - for restaurant at this price point thats very poor.
Burger meat fine, but honestly a little small salad put on site.
overall ok but at the point and market I feel you need to sharpen up a bit.
