Haven't been since new owners have taken oven. Not as inviting as before, meal was nice but the fish was a small portion in comparison with previous owners. Service was good, we were the only diners for lunch so no atmosphere. Doubt we will return.

We have just returned from our third visit to Three Ways House, the most recent was to celebrate my birthday with a two night stay. We received a warm welcome in reception after parking the car in the hotels car park. I can only say WOW, with reference to the bedroom we had, the Chocolate Suite. No detail overlooked in providing a unique, warm and comfortable room that reflected the ethos of the hotel. We had booked dinner and were dissapointed to find that the dining room was closed for decoration and all guests were directed to the bistro bar for dinner. Dinner was excellent although the puddings for which the hotel us famous were a little dry having been kept warm for some time. I think that a prior warning that the restuarent would be closed during our stat would have been in order as it did impact breakfast and dinner despite best attempts of the staff to keep things going. This resulted in me awarding four stars instead of yhe five that would have been given. Special mention to the breakfast team who provided great service and also sound advice on where we should visit during our stay. We had two very comfortable nights and left with fond memories of a memorable visit.Rooms: Many of the rooms have a "pudding" theme, we previously stayed in the Summer Pudding room. These rooms are delightful although some real chocolate would have been appreciated in the Chocolate Suite.Nearby activities: Mickleton is ideally located for touring the Cotswolds with easy access to Bourton on the Water, Broadway, Upper and Lower Slaughted, Burford and Snowhill. This time we went to Batsford Arboretum, Charlecote Park, Hatton Locks and Broadway which were a delight.Walkability: There are some great walks in and around Mickleton, just ask in reception for suggestions and a map.Food & drinks: Great breakfasts and meals are to be expected and the signature puddings provided on Friday nights Pudding Club are amazing. A local draft bitter would be a good addition in my opinion instead of the lager and bottled beer offered.

We returned to the Three Ways House Hotel, and we were not disappointed. We stayed in the Chocolate Room and the decor was very good with great attention to detail. The only thing missing was chocolate !The service was very good and particularly thanks to the lady who was managing breakfast time ... really charming and helpful. The hotel is ideally situated to explore the Cotswolds. We visited Charlecote Park and the Hatton Locks, both worth a visit. My favourite place on this trip was the village of Broadway, quintessentially British with a great range of coffee shops; places to eat and quirky shops. The Cotswolds Chocolate Shop is not to be missed.

I don't recommend this place. Dirty bathrooms with mold on silicone. the hotel stinks, one receptionist is a racist. no culture and no respect for people from another country. The carpet is dirty. Bad Service, not cleaning well.

We hadn?t managed to have a summer holiday due to caring for family so booked a much needed long weekend away. We booked a classic double room with breakfast which cost over £534 for 3 nights. We were allocated room 12 on the ground floor overlooking the garden (and the Morrisons local shop). Out of the hotels control but on the first morning I was woken at 6am by the delivery to Morrisons being unloaded. The noise from the metal trolleys was really loud. Positives 1. breakfast was a choice of cereal, fruit, yogurt, pastries, toast or full English (bacon, fried eggs, sausages, mushrooms, beans & tomatoes). This was delicious and the staff were very friendly and attentive. (I didn?t realise you could choose scrambled egg though until I overheard someone ask for it on the morning of check out. 2. Parking was easy with on site car park and on street parking if no space 3. Daily room service Negatives 1. Bathroom contained a bath with shower over which was quite dated, signs of mould on tiles which made it look grubby, toilet was rather grubby 2. Not much space in bathroom to hang wet towels 3. hook on back of bathroom door missing but holes where it used to be still there 4. Carpet in bedroom stained 5. Thick heavy blackout curtains at bedroom window but no privacy nets so If you wanted to relax in the room in the daytime you either sat in the dark or could be seen by people walking past your bedroom window which happened (rail is still there so assume they used to have privacy nets) 6. Safety check stickers on kettle and hairdryer were outdated 7. Coffee & sugar supplied in a Kilner jar rather than sealed packets which doesn?t seem very hygienic 8. Bed & pillows were quite uncomfortable 9. The information folder showed how to control the air conditioning but our room did not have air conditioning and was very hot 10. Each time we walked through the bar area with sofas there was nobody at the bar to serve 11. You could hear a lot of noise from the room above, people walking, banging on the floor as if they were throwing shoes down, this was until midnight one night and again early in the morning All in all we had a lovely weekend away but I think the price was expensive for the quality, cleanliness or comfort of the room. I didn?t raise concerns whilst there as there was nothing they could do in time we were staying to improve the tired looking room. If the hotel was revamped it would be lovely.

The staff where very helpful. We arrived with a car and large trailer with my husband mobility aids. They could not have been more helpful moving staff cars so we had room to park.I can not praise the staff enough for all there help during our stay.

Had a great night, catching up with friends. Wouldn't hesitate to come back in the future Food in restaurant is first class Staff friendly and welcoming - Some great young people serving at dinner and breakfast Location is great for many local places to visit Nice bar Some of the corridor carpets and walls a bit tired and in need of decoration Garden could do with some TLC

Expensive, unable to store baggage either side of a booking (something to do with Health and Safety...), rooms were not nice and need a complete renovation (you cannot keep painting over a room to make it look nice, the bathrooms reminded me of my boarding house at school which though fine, were not exactly fitting for the price per night paid). Friendly staff.

Very good. Deliciously furnished chocolate suite and a wonderful bar area. Highly recommended.
