The Eight Bells is in a great location for the north end of the Cotswolds. The staff were friendly and polite, the evening meal and breakfast was excellent. The rooms are noisy in the evening as they face onto the courtyard but this is in the description so I accept that. ?

As we were walking around the town, I remember seeing a pub that I heard Alan Brazil talking about on the radio. So we popped in for a quick pint with my family. We were not disappointed, lovely atmosphere in a beautiful pub, bartender was great. Next time I'm in the Cotswolds I will be back. Thanks

First off, amazing service. The food is delicious, with the best hand cut chips and pie I?ve had in the UK so far. The steak, salad, and fish are also all very good. The interior is really cozy but also lively.

Ate here and came for drinks for three evenings as we were staying around the corner.
Our reservation was well arranged and ready. Service is fine, teetering between friendly and reprimanding, depending on who you deal with. They didn?t serve food to the upper terrace even though a big sign on the wall suggested they do.
Pricing felt a bit high for the menu complexity, but we can only compare with other dining experiences we had in the UK during our visit.
Lovely atmosphere generally but can get quite busy and loud on the weekend.

The service at this pub was very friendly and welcoming, which made for a pleasant visit. The food was okay ? decent but nothing particularly memorable. In a region where many gastropubs set a high bar, the dishes here felt somewhat average by comparison. Still, it's a solid place overall, and there's nothing major to complain about. Just don?t expect anything exceptional. A good spot for a casual meal if you're nearby.

Reasonably good value for a pub meal. Nice old pub atmosphere, excellent quick service, hot food. Salad a little wilted, but overall it was a nice meal.

Stopped by without booking and they managed to squeeze me and my business partner in for a gorgeous steak! A lovely looking lady helped us on our journey at this gem of an establishment. The steak was succulent and delicious melted in my mouth kind of meat that! Defo stop by people if your visiting this quiet and tranquil town!
