Great place to find second hand books. Lots to choose from and you can tell that they have been carefully selected. Great vibe with the owner listening to an audiobook. Some really nice versions of some classics were available.

Had a quick look at this wonderful shop this morning, and ended up buying about ten books! Lovely place, not at all as expensive as some of the reviews here make out, and some fantastic treasures. Highly recommended.

Draycott Books is one of the jewels of the Cotswolds. This great shop in a wonderful town is a must-see for any book lover. The shop has a diverse stock with many wonderful antiquarian, vintage and collectible books, including many signed 1st Editions. I go out of my way to visit the shop every time I travel to the UK from Canada. I only wish the shop was 5,000 miles closer!

Seems like a nice shop, however it is not open during the opening hours stated on the door, for 2 days in a row now. This is not the way to treat your customers.

On holiday in the Cotswolds this week. Went to Chipping Camden to see this bookshop. The net and the door says open Wednesdays at 10.30am. As we had elsewhere to go we left at 10.45 and it was still not open. Presumably the owner does not need the business and we will not be back.

Wonderful place. Small and cramped, smelling of old paper, with the shelves overflowing, just like a bookstore should be. They even had a nice little selection of SF.Not to be missed

Excellent mixed bookshop, well worth a look.

Small, and expensive, but a proper antiquarian bookshop. The sort of place that is worth poking round just in case they have that particular book you're looking for.

A tiny, appropriately crowded antique bookstore tended by the son of the founder. Very engaging and eager to assist. We had no intention of making a pirchasr, but walked out with five classics.
