Six of us arrived in Chipping Campden with all our bags and we couldn't get into the Air BnB for about 4 hours or so. We camped out at Huxley's and bought lunch and some other stuff later. Anyway they let us hang out there for a long time. We did move when a large group came in so we weren't getting in the way of their customers, but it was still nice. Also, we were worried about it raining and they said that they had a cover they could pull over if it did. Also, I thought the food was really good. They had good choices and it tasted great. We stayed in the town for about 4-days and I wanted to go back to Huxley's for dinner, but between us being busy and them closing early most nights, it didn't happen. I'll be there this summer and I will definitely go there at least once. Sorry it has taken me so long to do the review, because we were there last spring.

Absolutely disgusting staff member - a female waitress refused to wipe down the table once I had asked her twice she chose to flick away the crumbs that were on the table and then tell me it was clean. When I asked her the third time she told me it was clean and I could leave if I didn?t like it.Never have I come across such a rude waitress.Such a shame because it is a lovely setting. Nevertheless, I would stay away from this place!

Had lunch in Huxley Cafe & Brasserie today. Very welcoming, giving us a perfect table inside for my husband and I and our 2 dogs.Had the ragu and beef stew, both meals were delicious.The staff were friendly and efficient and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend and will definitely visit again.

A super cozy place. We were there in February, fireplace lit, a very warm atmosphere. We only drank beer.What we have noticed is Queen any cafe, Pub, etc. The cleaning and bathrooms are very well maintained, in addition to the most necessary things, there is always hand cream. One thing that surprised me quite a bit.

we went for a coffee and decided on the bakery. Coffee is a good standard however the cake portion was a joke. At nearly £4 a slice; when we opened the bag the piece of cake was a SLIVER - less than a centimetre . I find this extremely stingy and bad value and unnecessary. A piece of cake at £4 a slice should be a proper portion . I know times are hard but this is ridiculous and off putting .Won't return

Excellent cafe with good food and drink with efficient and friendly service..we live too far away to visit weekly but visit at least 5 times a year. The bakery is a top addition. Bread, tiramisu,amaretti biscuits so good but everyone should have a mince pie from here before they die!!!??
