had heard some not so good reviews about this place but live 2 doors away and my daughter was visiting from Spain and she really wanted to good .so glad I did we had a fantastic night .seated straight away ,drinks straight away food came quickly and all 3 coarses were amazing service good not have been any better got new drinks during meal within mins of asking .I will be back for sure .and if ever in Cheltenham you should go .I haven't even mentioned the decor it was beautiful

We had organised a Christmas get together for 20 people. Due to the number and when we booked we had to go for a 2pm sitting.When we arrived it was quite, just us and another couple of tables.We had preordered all our 3 courses, once everyone had arrived they brought out each course as required. They took our drinks orders at the table. The food was tasty and well presented. Everyone enjoyed what they received.

Food was brilliant, been here for twice and the restaurant still maintains lovely service but my mom commented that portion of risotto was a bit small for the £16.95 apart from this, nothing to complain about :)

It was a cold evening when we visited and the staff kindly seated us near the radiator which was much appreciated ?. The food was hot and delicious and served in a relaxed friendly way.Parking: After 7pm there is limited free on street parkingKid-friendliness: The kids menu is fun with a variety of options to accommodate most tastesWheelchair accessibility: There is ramped access available and an accessible toilet.

Understaffed, food slow and cold on arrival dishes missing for starters and main and others at table finished by the time all dishes served. Staff rude, took ages for drinks to be served, asked for water never received it, adjacent table never got any food walked out after an hour wait. Great location shame about the execution. Never ever will I visit this establishment again. Insisted they removed service charge from bill, staff didn't looked surprised at the request

Let down by long wait. Food was good. Staff were friendly. But the person serving us evaporated, had to chase for missing part of main course, dessert took far far too long to come.

First time we ordered from here, took over an hour for food to be delivered and food looked as though it was thrown in. But gave them the benefit of the doubt. We tried a 2nd time. Ordered both times through deliveroo. This time round we waited over an hour and a half, on the app the riders were assigned then unassigned. Tried calling the restaurant to get an update, couldn't get through. Rang deliveroo to find out and they couldn't get through to the rider that was supposed to be assigned at the time and couldn't get hold of the restaurant either. We decided to cancel our order as it was getting late and just getting ridiculous. Especially for the price they charge for the food, which is only OK quality. We ended up going to papa John's, took 30mins to deliver and the food was better. Won't be ordering from zizi again.

We waited 20 minutes for a drink , then waited 70 minutes for our starter. In the end we left and we to Charlie?s chippy.Our waiter at zizzi was great he kept apologising and trying to speed things up but the kitchen team ignored him sending him off with other orders, to top it all.. they gave him a plate of cold slightly burnt garlic bread to bring over as a gesture.. that was after 55 minutes wait. It was then we realised we weren?t getting starters anytime soon.. we had booked for the family 11 of us in three weeks time.. cancelled that obviously, far to risky if the can?t get us two done then 11 would be far to bigger task. Can?t believe our evening just two of us, three course meal with drinks.. how hard can it be.. we watched as tables around us with people who arrived 40 minutes after us all getting served.. but they just kept telling our poor waiter they?re on it!!. Don?t know what to say so disappointed and a ruined evening .. Charlie chips were excellent.. just for the recordVegetarian options: Poor very poor

The food is good, 4 stars because what's on the menu is standard and any special is not on my taste. I had some pasta, it was good, not amazing for my taste.The staff was really nice, friendly and helping.The atmosphere is special. A restaurant in a former church it is not something easy to see.Overall I recommend it for anyone to give it a try.

Went on a busy night, and pre-warned they were short staffed. Service was slow but the atmosphere and the delicious food made the waiting easy to endure. Great staff doing a great job. Definitely worth going back to.

DISGRACEFUL STAFF:I recently visited Zizzi?s Cheltenham and sadly, it was an incredibly disappointing experience from start to finish. My partner and I arrived at 8:15pm, and we were surprised when the staff informed us that they were closing at 9:30pm. This was contrary to the information I had checked online, which clearly stated their closing time as 10:00pm.In an attempt to salvage the evening, we inquired about getting a takeaway instead. The staff reluctantly agreed, but the situation only worsened. After waiting for 15 minutes with no updates, we decided to check with the kitchen ourselves, only to find it unattended. It?s disheartening to be treated so disrespectfully and ignored.The level of rudeness and dishonesty displayed by the staff was truly appalling. As customers, we deserved better treatment and clear communication. This experience has left a sour taste in our mouths, and I cannot in good conscience recommend Zizzi?s Cheltenham to anyone based on this encounter.Overall, this visit was a complete letdown, and I feel it?s only fair to rate it with a single star. I hope this review serves as a cautionary tale for others who are considering dining at this establishment.

Hi unfortunately not able to write a review as even though the restaurant is only a quarter full they are not taking walk ins for even one person - sure there are good reasons but advice to book ahead !
