I would actively discourage anyone from using this Post Office branch. Over 30 mins of waiting..

The place cannot seem to keep it's lift working. It's been broken for several weeks now, and keeps breaking down regularly, which makes it impossible to Acces the post office, the books, the art supplies, most of the important products and services they carry. They're the only post office in town, and one of only two art supply stores, with the other being less accessible with worse quality products, so if anyone with limited mobility needed these things it's going to be way more difficult. It's really disappointing, since it would be a good store without these issues

OK getting a tad expensive but then most places are now.

Quiet place with a few awkward staff members but the tall worker over 6 foot seemed like a nice gentleman. The que was horrendous.

Friday the 13th it certainly was in the Post Office of WHSmiths today. I counted 25 people in the queue & I waited 45 mins to renew my drivers licence. Whilst there was a helpful Manager directing customers to the self service stamp machine, the rest of us just had to wait. Why was there only 1 person serving? I won't go to this post office branch again unless I want to go for a chat with other customers & have all the time in the world with nothing else to do!!

If you have all afternoon to waste in the queue at the Post Office in this shop, its the place to be.The staff still have the Government employee attitude and simply ignore you. The manager is non existent, but there is an older lady that helps people use the self service - I HIGHLY recommend HER and the self service booths... you'll get out before tea time!

Always huge ques and not enough staff. Self checkouts closed. If you have the time to stand waiting all afternoon that ok, but no good for me as I work in Cheltenham and get an hour for lunch, I simply don't have the time.

Staff at the post office were rude and not even slightly welcoming. Depressing experience don?t think I saw a single person crack a smile. Myself and a few others actually dread going in there.

7) A shop staffed by boys who subject adults they don?t know to illegal harassment. All should be aware that harassment, name-calling, stalking or groundless smearing of women behind their backs are all illegal, misogynistic and criminal. None of the above repulsive conduct has any place in a civilised society, so anyone who elects to engage with it is in breach of any remit and operates in contempt of the law and basic decency. Shame on them.

The queue for the post office is frequently long, and the staff are quite rude and unhelpful. The staff in WHSmith however are normally very polite and helpful.

My experience from staff member Joanne was nothing but a racist attack on black people. I walked into this branch without my mask on, Joanne (5ft 2, glasses, slim with short dark greyish hair) was instantly full of attitude towards me as she rudely gestured for me to put my mask on. I continued with my shopping and went to wait in the queue, my phone rang and I answered pulling my mask down. Joanne charged at me with complete fury telling me to pull my mask up, after a heated exchange I looked around and noticed two white girls without masks, they were then served by Joanne with no questions about their face masks. Shoppers then began to approach me about this woman's behaviour towards me which then led her to shout at me from across the till in rage. This then led to another showdown between me and the racist Joanne which was held in front of a store filled with customers and I left feeling upset and hurt. I had two white friends go into this store after my ordeal, neither of them wearing masks and one so happened to be served by Joanne, nothing was mentioned about him not wearing a mask. Which leads me to know this; Joanne is a racist, she truly believes she is entitled and wanted to try and degrade me as a black woman. I have resided in Cheltenham for a number of years and never have I ever endured anything like I did that day. I would like to thank Wh Smith head office for taking my two letters of complaints seriously and having the issue addressed.

I understand doing price checks can be long and irritating, as ive worked in this industry myself before, however not just myself but another lady today asked a gentleman for help whilst doing his price checks as he was the only member of staff on the shop floor. Not only did he ignore the ladys first question, but then when I asked for assistance he didn?t acknowledge my question and took me to the wrong section of the store, but then when I described what I was looking for in more detail he walked off whilst saying ?no we dont sell that? despite me needed more items and assistance. Im sure Wilko will be of more help
