Despite the negative comments I've just read, the two staff on duty at click & collect approx 10.15am on 20 Aug could not have been more helpful - absolutely outstanding customer service. Thank you both

We decided to try the scanners for the first time. I understand that they do spot checking. However, she checked more than 15 items in our cart. At that point, we might as well went up to a cashier to scan our items for check out. In additon, 3 additonal people walked through and their items were not checked at all. That seems a bit suspicious. I won't be shopping at this one again.

Incredibly rude staff, i keep getting crashed into by them with their online order trolley. No apologies, nasty and rude. Awful customer service. Clearly employ staff that have no respect for anyone.

Busy car park , expected the store to be rammed. Not the case . Helpful staff and plenty of choice

I don't know what has happened at the Tesco Superstore in Cheltenham but something isn't right. Shopping is frustrating enough with old people dawdling and having 0 awareness but if you're like me and do a food planner, list out ingredients and can't buy most of them it makes it even worse. Basic herbs/spices, vegetables & meats just aren't on the shelf. I couldn't get ingredients for 5 of the meals I had planned which for a 'superstore' isn't super. When we got to the store there was a queue for the self scanners & the least dynamic person I've ever seen was painfully putting in new ones for people to use. I understand that when you use these there can be spot check, I get it, but they could put the items they take out back in the bags, they came from. We've shopped elsewhere for a while now and only used Tesco as we were going past it while already out but I definitely won't be doing a weekly shop there again, my blood pressure can't take it.

I had really bad experience today. The store colleague i don't her name i think she's from korea or japan ,her behaviour is totally irritating , I brought a mulled wine she refused to give me i said I'm 28 and I show my e visa status , she doesn't aware of what is e visa. I'm really sorry to say this type of employee will reduce the good will of the company.. please do something against theses type of people. My best friend had same experience happens in the last week .. I hope you do something..

The security guard is very rude here, I don't know his name he is white, about 5ft 4in approx , has brown colour hair , wears glasses and has an accent but I'm not sure where he's from my sister heard him talk I didn't I'm hard of hearing, we went to Tesco's today to do our shopping and after paying and going out into the foyer we saw it was raining very heavily and it was thundering and lightening so we decided to wait a couple of minutes for the rain to stop and the security guard kept telling us to go back in the shop and we said no were waiting here for the rain to stop and he said no go back in the shop your blocking the door way and he said it to us 3 or 4 times he even tried pushing the trolley back into the shop and my 70 year old dad
grabbed the trolley back and we went outside to the car in the soaking wet never shopping there again and prices are too expensive

Driving along Brooklyn road Cheltenham today around 4.45 pm it seems Tesco delivery drivers are exempt from giving way a parked vehicle on there side of the road regardless of what's coming the opposite way namely me just drives around causing me to swerve don't they realise there's a great big logo on the vehicle not a great advertisement for Tesco's

Done a click & collect 24/5/24. Neve done one before but wasn?t feeling too good so thought was a good idea. First off the guy pushing food trolly to car actually banged car with it. No apology. I had opted for no substitutes. They did. Six eggs instead of ten. The fresh mince that was picked had the use by date of 25/5/24. Didn?t realise till two days after collecting. Will never click & collect again

I recently visited the Tesco Superstore in Cheltenham, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Let me break it down:
Cleanliness and Appearance: The store could use a thorough cleaning and a fresh look. The paths outside were grubby and littered, which didn?t create a pleasant first impression.
Interior: Inside, the store appeared dated. The overall ambiance lacked vibrancy, and some areas felt neglected. The bakery and deli sections were particularly disappointing.
Product Selection: If you?re a fan of processed junk food, you?ll find plenty of options here. However, for those seeking a more diverse and high-quality selection, Tesco Superstore might fall short.
Staff and Service: While my interactions with staff were generally positive, the overall experience could benefit from improvements.
In summary, Tesco Superstore in Cheltenham has room for improvement. If you prioritize convenience and processed foods, it might suit your needs. However, for a more elevated shopping experience, you might want to explore other options.

I visited a Tesco superstore today. I was charged a higher price at the till than was stated on the shelf. Refund duly given. However, the main issue is TRUST. Can customers trust that they are being charged the correct amount at the till. As this isn't the first time this has happened, and it happens in other stores and supermarkets, I now keep a very close eye on the charge at the till. Perhaps we should bring back the old Yellow Pricing stickers, where the price was the price!!
