In the year I have lived in the area I have had to attend the surgery several times. As my health hasn?t been as good as I?d hoped it would be. I?ve seen a few different Drs & 2 nurses. The surgery I had at my old address my family had been with 60yrs so a real family Dr. I had a lovely gp & all nurses were lovely too & receptionist. I obviously was very concerned & a little scared I?ll admit at joining a new practice after along spell with my previous one. But I had no cause to worry as I can honestly say this is the nicest surgery I have been too. I have found the Drs all to be extremely helpful understanding & put you at ease. I?ve seen 3 in particular that were incredibly kind, understanding whilst very professional too. Even at my family Drs at my previous address I always was anxious going & felt panicky. But I can honestly say I don?t here, I have confidence in this surgery that they will do their best to help. Obviously we can?t expect to get through always straight away or be seen that day, it is a busy full time Surgery there to help us all, & I believe they do their upmost best to see us if possible. I have found all staff are as helpful as they can be & do their best. One negative is where the loos are situated, but that?s how it is! The main thing is the medical care & that is good.

Almost impossible to get through via the phone line. As mentioned by other reviews staff don't seem happy and can be rude. By the far the worst GP surgery I have experienced by some margin. On a positive the surgery always appears clean and tidy.

I rang up the surgery to make an urgent appointment to get some advice from a doctor and was spoken to by a very rude receptionist. I understand that the NHS is under a lot of pressure, working for them myself but there is no need for rudeness especially in this sort of industry. The receptionist had no time for me, no understanding and no politeness.

I understand the NHS is in a lot of pressure but it does not justify the poor and unprofessional attitude from the reception. No hello just ?name? with no signs of a smile or positive welcome.

staff seem overly rude to me just because i am young and at 16 have control over all my own appointments ive called multiple times about continuous problems they didn't listen and spoke to me as if i was calling for fun of it leading to me thinking of changing my gp

This is such a good GP surgery. You always get a call back from the doctor if you go on e consults online.

Worst surgery EVER! Receptionists are rude! Clearly based on other comment nothing is done about it as the issue still exist!!!

Worst doctors surgery! it's so bad I've switched to cleevelands medical centre, been trying for nearly 2 years to get a face to face appointment with a doctor, reception staff are just rude and unhelpful, all they care about is covid! There are much worse illnesses and your neglect is only make things worse disgusting.

Stoke road surgery have friendly very helpful receptionists they have been so kind and helpful,with Doctors and Nurses always willing to help too I?d say a very Caring Surgery

Just amazing? This is quite honestly the best doctor surgery I have ever been to. Staff are friendly, kind, empathetic and really listen. In particular, Dr. Johnson is absolutely brilliant. She made me feel very calm and informed about my options when struggling with a health issue.100% recommend! The e-consult is a brilliant feature they offer, too. Thank you Stoke Road surgery.

Doctors surgeries can have a poor reputation but this is the nicest one I've ever been a patient at (and I have moved around a lot). Every member of staff is incredibly kind and I've never felt so looked after and listened to. Nothing is ever too much trouble and there is no such thing as a silly question. I've recently moved away but I wanted to say thanks for fixing me when I've been at my lowest. You guys are the best.

The service I have received from the team at Stoke Road Surgery has been absolutely wonderful. The admin staff and receptionists are always polite and extremely helpful. The doctor I consulted with was very thorough, actively listened and responded to my needs. I wish to say. Big thank you to the whole team who are doing a fantastic job.

I moved to Bishops Cleeve in August 2021 and I'm happy to say this is is the best GP Surgery I have ever frequented. The receptionists are always happy to help, whether that's over the phone, or at the front desk. In particular, Dr Katie Field is an amazing and supportive doctor.
