Truly awful customer service - it may not be the frontline staff?s fault for the issue we had but clearly do not want to take responsibility for mistakes that their organisation make. The issue was a breach of the Data Protection Act by changing an address back to a previous address and sending a card to that old address. The member of staff we dealt with didn?t want to ownership of the issue, refused to believe what we were saying, asked me not to rude (when I clearly wasn?t) and all we wanted was for someone to take ownership of yet another error caused by Santander. When I said we should make a complaint she then said ?do not speak to me like that?. We were so incensed by her rude, uncaring behaviour we made a complaint direct to their complaints manager. There is a reason Santander are ranked 12 out of 17 on the CMA customer service ratings and from our experience this is far too high.

Great service/staff. Location is showing as the Lloyds Bank/Regents Arcade location. It's not. Further along the High street, into pedestrian area, at junction of High Street and Pittsville Street, next to Monsoon.

Very off-putting when you are pounced on at the door then quizzed as to why you are here and if I can go to the desk or not. Lady at the desk was very helpful though.

Excellent. Met in foyer by helpful member of staff who directed me accurately. Short wait to see another person in one of the offices off to the side. She was very friendly, and efficiently helped me, gave concise information, then set up what I needed quickly.

Don't ever bank with santander!! Cheltenham branch...Customer service is appalling make promises to you that they have no intention of keeping. Refuse to let you withdraw amounts in certain denominations you would like. Even refuse to order it in for you. Say anything you want to hear just to move onto the next Customer. Only open 9am-3pm which makes it worse when you take time off work to only be messed around. Absolute joke of a bank. Wouldn't even call it a bank. Just bypass this place and open a lloyds or a natwest way better services and appreciated alot more.

Staff were rude to myself and a elderly lady in line in front of me. Really spoke down to her and got frustrated. Tried to make an appointment to see someone at a later time about multiple things to discuss and the lady was dismissive until I insisted. Customer service skills are lacking in this branch

Had an issue with my debit card and thankfully the manager Greg was able to fix it. I can?t use online banking very well so was very happy.
