Lovely hotel , very clean, great staff very welcoming, food was very good we only had breakfast but enjoyed it very spacious bedroom , luxury toiletries our room side faced the road so was a quite noisy, so didnt sleep too well. next time we would ask for a room overlooking park parking chargeable would definitely go back when next in Cheltenham
Rooms: Lovely room very spacious, but we found it a bit noisy as it was on the side of the road , would choose a different room if we go again
Walkability: Right in town centre close to everything
Food and drinks: Excellent food

Walkability: Lots of coffee shops and stores within walking distance. Shopping center and a Marks n Spencer nearby. Hotel is between Imperial and Montpellier Gardens. Great location overall near High Street.
Food and drinks: Many coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

Excellent location and a lovely clean room. Very disappointing breakfast I expected more at £20 each we were left waiting shown to table eventually and just left there not offered a drink and not even advised what would happen next, the staff were so unhelpful and miserable, the cooked breakfast certainly wasn't local produce had no flavour. I recommend the hotel but I don't recommend the breakfast

Iconic hotel in the heart of town. But oh the service! Or lack of. I stopped by today to check on availability next month for a friends visit - but nobody was at reception. I called out to no avail. The phone rang and rang unanswered. I stopped a waiter and asked where the receptionist was and was told ?I don?t know - better wait?. I left.

Beautiful old Hotel in the heart of Cheltenham. Combining old world charm with modern facilities it has a relaxing unrushed feel to it. The staff are welcoming and friendly, making you feel you are in safe hands. The location is superb with excellent car park facilities that include very good electric car charging, up to 22 kW for cars that can accept, which is a step up from what is usually elsewhere. Would like to see more than just the one point that can only charge 2 cars. Bedrooms are well appointed. The public areas are particularly attractive. There is a lounge area with a real fire place, very welcome sight during the current cold snap. Bar area is comfortable and inviting but the star is the restaurant. Split in two, the extension area has the high ceilings, that are a marker for the Hotels architecture, beautifully decorated and with an outside area that will be a welcome addition to summer dining. A small menu but very well executed. Special mention for Jack on reception, who couldn't of been more accommodating when we had a slight blip with our room, adroitly dealt with. Highly recommended.

Loved our stay. As always its the friendly and attentive staff that make this hotel such a joy to stay in. Looking forward to our next visit. ?

Well there's a place that has deteriorated. I remember going there in the 90s and there were white table cloths, a piano, lovely furnishunfs and beautiful plates and cutlery. I went for tea on Saturday and it looked like the balifs had been in and cleared the place. Tatty carpets, in the foyer, all original chaise longe and long line tables - gone and a few second hand grey cheap chairs put around the fire place. No large dining room other than a small eating area with two palms in plastic pots. No table cloths on the tables and worn charity shop cups and saucers and canteen cutlery. What a mess! what a let down! Absolute disgrace to this historic building.

Fabulous hotel in a lovely town. Staff were helpful and very friendly.
Rooms: Huge room, with a very lux feel.
Nearby activities: Cotswold central. Really good launching place into the surrounding countryside. Cheltenham is a really nice town with good shopping and restaurants.
Safety: Secure
Walkability: Lots of walking opportunities and nearby malls
Food and drinks: The queens had fabulous breakfast and very good dinner options. Fabulous bar. The place oozes history. Loads nearby restaurants
Noteworthy details: Staff - great service

We recently booked to stay at the Queens hotel. Upon arrival , we were told that they were unable to accommodate us at the hotel. No explanation was given why the booking was not honoured?was it an overbooking or what. I find it unacceptable that there was no reason given for this !
In fairness, they had arranged for an alternative hotel close by?but surely they could have informed us by email of the entire situation before our arrival ?

Nice location..my room was okay facing the back. Lobby quite small. Front office staff quite average. No acknowledgements it's like being a stranger rather than a guest. Parking was easy it's £15 per day. Breakfast is £20. Restaurant food was tasty. Staff there were more friendly. Overall my stay was ok but seemed like a average experience overall.
