I visited the Cheltenham store on 6th August and was greeted by various members off staff...working myself in retail and in a customer facing role i know how important recognition is by customers when you give great service....I was guided & directed by a young lady called Jen. She is a very knowledgeable and a credit to the company. She guided me and gave me various options in purchasing a collar and various items for my new puppy ?. She in my opinion a great asset to pets at home & exceeded customer service above & beyond ..many thanks

We always use this pets at home. Especially Fridays, Karl works on the fish section. The most helpful and attentive fish expert we have ever had the joy of meeting. Consistently provides an amazing knowledge of the fish, their names, behaviour and what to expect as a pet. Karl's repitoir of fish is incredible. We utilise this knowledge and we now have a very large establishent fish tank. Thanks to Karl. My only qualm; more variety of fish. We're used to buying the same fish, a new species of anything different would be appreciated. It would also bring in new customers

I visited the Cheltenham Gallagher retail park shop on Wednesday having decided I was going to buy my daughter a hamster. I had done some research for the weeks leading up to this, so I went in knowing what cage I wanted.
A young lady called Beth asked if I needed any help, I told her I wanted to buy the set up for a hamster and bring my daughter back to select what hamster she wanted once the cage was set up. Beth was amazing and talked me through everything I could possibly need. She was really informative and very very friendly. Once I had everything I needed Beth got her co worker to put it through the till. This lady told me about the app and I would save money. She didn?t rush me when it was taking time to download and was also very helpful and friendly. I had my young son in a pram and wasn?t able to carry everything I brought to my car. This wasn?t an issue as the staff found someone to take it to my car, which I was so thankful of.
I returned later that day with my daughter to pick her first pet. Beth was there again ready to help me. She took her time to show my daughter all the hamsters and was very patient with us while we picked. Having worked in retail for 15 years I was blown away by the customer service I received on Wednesday. Beth is a credit to the store and everyone I talked to was kind and seemed more than happy to help. I have even received a call this evening (which I sadly missed) asking how our new pet was settling in. Galinda the hamster is doing amazingly, all thanks to the advice I received from Beth about helping her settle in.
Please do pass on my thanks and my praise for the team and the store. I am sure I will be a regular from now on buying hamster treats and toys.

Premise is clean and organised. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Lots of variety of choices. Cute and well cared for pets for sale. I especially like the section for pets to adopt.

Helpful staff if its the usual pets your shopping for. Reptile department is awful & the reptiles & fish are kept in bad conditions, totally wrong for the species, whatever species it is! The frozen rodents sold for reptile food are not good quality either!

We visited today under sad circumstances, unfortunately for us, our beloved pet Rosie went over the rainbow bridge.
The staff at the vets attached to Pets at Home were compassionate warm and good at a terrible time for us as a family. I can not recommend them highly enough.
