Went to replace my trusted old Doro with a smart phone - it now takes me a fraction of the time I used to need to send a text.\\n\\nHowever, my Doro didn't drop calls since it didn't do much else. Like my Moto does.\\n\\nI was pleased with the service which was good, but it seemed only one staff member could transfer my data to the new Samsung 12.\\n\\nI was saddened to see the £5 monthly payment had increased to £10!! per month, tho' with 7 GB thrown in - which I didn't need. Luckily I could keep my old package because I had already was on the £5 pm package.\\n\\nThe Samsung 12 seems to be ok, but it's early days and I haven't had the chance or the time yet to explore it in detail.\\n\\nMy 10% cashback meant I managed to get nearly £18 back on my replacement new phone.\\n\\nThe quality of service, as in Peterborough and Cardiff, is usually good and I wasn't disappointed by by the O2 Store in Cheltenham, either.

Worst place ever to try and get through to on the phone! 27 times I've tried calling this morning alone let alone yesterday and the day before and still no answer!

Excellent service. All very friendly and helpful. Explained everything during my Husbands phone upgrade and setup his new phone for him. I would definitely recommend this O2 shop in Cheltenham.

After receiving a security alert message from Amazon, I checked my phone to find many unknown email addresses in my contacts list, mostly from eastern Europe.\\nVisited the Gloucester store only to be told by a member of staff with a serious attitude issue that they \\\"don't have the training\\\" there to offer any help and referred me to Cheltenham where an appointment had to be made to see a \\\"guru\\\"???? One slight snag : nobody there seems to be able to answer the phone!!\\nAnd this was after driving in from the middle of the Forest of Dean.....and I'm also disabled. Not looking for any favours here but O2 and customer service definitely do NOT belong on the same page and the sooner I can dump them the better it'll be.

I bought a phone whilst on holiday in the area. Had problems setting it up and went to my local store who due to covid restrictions were unable to help. Called customer service who said I?d have to return to the store, 130 miles away!!\\nCalled the Cheltenham store by mistake, I?d actually bought it in Cirencester!!\\nSpoke to Jessica who was an absolute star in talking me through what I needed to do.\\nShe asked all the right questions to get to the facts she needed. I was so frustrated to begin with and she sensed that and made me smile. It?s just do hard when you have no idea what you?re talking about, what you need and how to solve the problem!!\\nI wanted to say immediately how wonderfully patient and friendly she was.\\nI?m praying that the issue is resolved but wanted to write this whilst I was feeling so grateful for speaking to such a lovely person.\\nIf there is an award for employee of the month/year I?d give it to her for being the best advocate for her company ever!\\nThank you so much, I?ll remember this great customer service for a long time

My main issue is with o2 insure, I have been with o2 for around 10 years and have been mainly happy with the service. However the last year has been a big disappointment. Without going into too much detail, o2 seem to distance themselves from the insurance side of things. Live chat seems to be very hit and miss. Every time I have been into my cheltenham branch, they seem very understaffed and clearly distance themselves from any customer service issues. They are very keen to point you in the direction of their telephone service and seem only trained in sales. The phone service seems equally stretched and basically pass you around departments without real care. Telephone numbers are misinformed on the website and deter customers from speaking verbally to staff. As I said my main concern is with o2 insure who seem very unhelpful. They told me that they work for a company called Gold star, although this is not stated anywhere on the o2 website. O2 themselves, do not seem to be interested in dealing with insurance issues even though they take payment for this service. All of the staff seem to listen though. Unfortunately, nobody seems capable of actually dealing with your problem!
