Try to return unwanted gifts from John Lewis. They were branded John Lewis products.I did not have a recipt of proof of purchase as it was a gift. The products were sealed and unopened. I was told they were not able to even give a credit note. It was a computer said no moment! Not great customer service for a company which prides itself on its service. No understanding or flexibility.

Went for Coffee on Sunday at JL Cheltenham. Store closes at 4.30 and advertised closing time of Coffee shops was 4.00pm. Went to both Coffee shops in the store at 3.10 to be told they were now closed. Customers sat in the coffee shops still at 4.10 when I passed again. Shocking service. I called the store number to let them management team know that this was not really the kind of service JL were known for. However you can only get through to an automated service that then takes you to a call centre in South Africa who can not put you through and only offer a call back after they have contacted the store. Really! This shows now concern for genuine feed back and is so inefficient . JL you have lost the plot and a loyal customer.

Excellent store, one of the best John Lewis branches I?ve been in to.Great selection of items to see, friendly and helpful staff and a live DJ at the front to get people into the Christmas spirit.

I went Christmas shopping and one of the things I wanted to get was perfume for my wife. So I went into John Lewis in Cheltenham.All I wanted was ?just? perfume with the EXPECTATION of potentially buying the perfume, pay and go like other shops. Not this time. I came across Julianna. For something which is normally a mundane transaction turned into a buying EXPERIENCE. To use the tired worn out phrase ?BEYOND EXPECTATIONS? would not be fair to Julianna. This was TRULY beyond expectations.She was very friendly, approachable while maintaining full professionalism.She packed the perfume in a Dior bag and made it look fantastic and presentable rather than just drop it in.I asked her where the men?s fragrances are so I can tell my wife what I want to get and without asking, she gave me some free samples to try out. Customer service like this is rare in todays retail industry and I certainly commend her.What an asset Julianna is to your company!

The John Lewis in Cheltenham was great to attend. It?s a shame that the Birmingham City centre branch at the Central had to closed. Hence why I travelled to Cheltenham to do some of my Christmas shopping. The staff were professional and friendly. Good traditional service, without being pushy. Keep up the good work.

The lady in Charlotte tilbury with the dark hair and nose studs was absolutely amazing. Perfect customer services alongside with extensive product knowledge which absolutely wowed meDefinitely should not go unnoticed she needs a pat on the back

I came into John Lewis today for a return and was met with quite rude abrupt service from staff member Sian, on an item which was bought recently and I had opened the plastic wrapper so was unable to receive a refund. She was not empathetic to the issue I had. My recent experience with John Lewis customer service left me not wanting to come back into the shop. :(

Chaotic layout makes finding anything virtually impossible. No prices on or anywhere near many of the items, some with misleading labels that are for a different product. Limited staff who mainly seemed to have to go and ask someone else before they could answer my query. I had to go to 3 different areas of the store, before I found the Christmas gift tags, bizarrely they were nowhere near the Christmas shop. Solihull store has always been better run than Cheltenham, I won?t be going back to the Cheltenham store.

Lovely visit to John Lewis today. A big thank you to Karen showing me the bags at Coach she was so helpful and knowledgeable about the bags and interested to know my style. If you are thinking about treating yourself for Xmas I would definitely take the time to see her.

Very small cups. Most branches of John Lewis cafe offer you a mug as a regular size cup of coffee. For some reason Cheltenham offer a small tea cup and charge the same price

We?ve been planning a family for a long time and would always have a look at the baby gear at John Lewis in particular the buggies. Well it finally happened and we?re expecting twins! Tried to phone the store to see if they had the double buggy we needed, the lady on the phone was not familiar with the brand and we were not able to talk to anybody on the shop floor, we were told that no they did not have this buggy. Fast forward a few weeks later and we found ourselves in John Lewis looking at baby things and there it was, the very same brand and model of buggy we had previously phoned about (we were told it had always been there), at this point, we had already placed an order for the buggy With mamas and papas. It amazes me how bad the customer service has got at Jhon Lewis, this would have been an easy couple of grand for them. We don?t bother with them anymore as there?s no difference between them and other local shops. I really hope they can sort themselves out.

My nan and I have both recently purchased apple watches. We were helped out by Michael J who helped us to find what we were looking for, he provided excellent customer service and was extremely friendly :) we are both very happy with our watches and would come back again.

Quality department store, the retail shopping experience was superior. Slightly unorganised in terms of finding your way around. Clothing and electronics sections all mixed. But overall solid shopping experience. Pleasant staff
