“There is a limited selection compared to wh smith but the staff are more helpful and friendlier. It’s slightly more pricey compared to its competitors but if you want bespoke products such as Japanese brush pens, then I’d look here first.”

“I go to this store very often during my lunch break as I work nearby. I have been looking for a laundry basket for about 3 months now. I saw one at TK Maxi Cheltenham but could not buy it at that time. So kept popping in to Home Sense in the hopes of finding it there. Yesterday I decided maybe I should ask if Home Sense has any laundry baskets as usually they are all on the shelves but this time I did not see any. I stopped an employee, her name is Jamie and she assisted me without any hesitation. She went to the back of the store and brought me two laundry baskets and they were exactly the ones that I needed! Jamie was so helpful and kind and I am very grateful to her. Thank you !”

“Enjoyed my time exploring through this HMV store. Great selections of movie DVDs, posters and collections of merchandise. I was served by a polite customer assistant at the till. Had a nice, quick conversation about favourite movies. But, unfortunately I couldn't purchase my DVDs as had problems with my debit card. He was understanding and offered to look after my DVDs for me. Sadly in the end, I've ran out of time and had to get back to Thornbury. So I've ended up ordering the DVDs online instead. Hope to visit again soon.”

“The best customer service I've experienced anywhere. I needed some linen Pyjamas for my honeymoon and two days before they were sold out online. I emailed customer service who explained a delivery had just come in and it was going through Quality Control inspection. Rather than waiting for the online shop to update it's stock he put a special order in for me which meant it was in time for the last post and come via next day express delivery so that I have them just in time. If it wasn't for Ashley I wouldn't have my new pyjamas to take with me on honeymoon. Above and beyond in every way. If I could give six stars I would.”

“Highly recommend. Holly and Simon were so patient and understanding in helping us plan our kitchen. Nothing was too much of a problem. Alterations, replacements and returns were dealt with swifty. The whole design team are very friendly and helpful. Also a shout out to the lovely lady that works in the trade bit (sorry didn't get her name). We were kept informed with regards to delivery's and all the delivery drivers were friendly and helpful. Only slight negative is the customer services who we went through for collections, took over 40 minutes to arrange collection of just 6 items and then it was wrong and we had to take bits back to the store but again it was done efficiently and with a smile.

“I went to Argos looking scruffy (which can put some people off) looking for a particular item. I was only looking for cooker hood bulb. A lovely young lady (I’m afraid I didn’t get her name) approached me to see if she could help. I needed to see the item to ensure it was the right one.
