The carvery was good, potatoes, vegetables and turkey were lovely, the lamb was a bit chewy/fatty and the Yorkshire puddings were a bit flat/stodgy. Our server Jackie provided excellent service whilst having to complete lots of other tasks and also helping other customers on a busy Sunday afternoon. Over all, a good experience. - Raffle ticket 724.

Been here a few times and usually I?d put a 5 star rating but not on this occasion unfortunately. I rang and booked a table for Mother?s Day for the 3 of us and when we arrived they said it wasn?t in the system even though I know I spoke to someone and booked it,instead of trying to fit us in somewhere we even said we didn?t mind waiting as we drove awhile to get there they turned us around and said they couldn?t do anything for us.

I appreciated the choice of vegetarian options (order with a staff member before queuing). The cheese stuffed veg thing was very tasty.
The macaroni cheese wasn't at all cheesy though, I'd skip it next time. Definitely planning to go back again in the week when it's cheaper/quieter.

Good choice for breakfast, nicely cooked. Only the toaster to complain about, either warm bread or toast a second time and it burns. Only mentioned it as my wife hates the smell if burnt toast.

Awful experience here after a few years of not visiting. Cold meat and vegetables and terrible customer service. At first we were offered for our meals to be microwaved, which we politely declined as we didn't feel that we should have to do this after spending almost £16 per person on a meal.
We were then approached by the manager who said they were unable to get us fresh hot meat, and offered for it to be warmed up again. As this was declined, we were offered for it to be a meat free carvery saving £2 per person. This is completely unacceptable. We were left to decide if we wanted to have a meat free carvery or free deserts. We were told we couldn't have fresh meat because they would have to use a new joint that they didn't want to do in case it didn't sell and would go to waste. The manager left to probe the meat temperatures.
The manager then came over to our table with a plate of meat consisting of beef, gammon and pork. I have no idea why we were given pork because we had turkey, beef and gammon. We asked why not turkey and they said that it was being probed. My guess would be that the turkey was below temperature.
The meat that we were given was clearly warmed up as it was absolutely steaming hot but cooled down extremely quickly. We were given a piece of pork that was solid and dried out.
We left unhappy, having not eaten much, due to the undercooked and solid vegetables. The stuffing was also an awful stodgy mess that needed fresh bringing out.
Overall, our visit was awful and we will definitely not be returning.
Parking: Terribly small car parking spaces with people parking their big cars towing large caravans taking up 5 spaces each.

Cold food, another miller & carter let down unfortunately. Toby Carvery used to be really good but the new going out is now at home where service is actually good!

The breakfast buffet was good for the price. The staff were all friendly. Environment clean and comfortable.

Don't usually leave a review...but the roast was so bad not even a slice of meat was given from the beef and gammon that i asked for...no taste to the vegetables...Shame as I come here for breakfast most weeks but fancied a change...Never again.Very over priced lunch for what it was ??
