Servers are really nice! I loved the sourdough and hummus. You walk in think it is just going to be a normal pub, but it seems like a really nice restaurant and it's beautiful with all the flowers.

Extremely rude female owner/manager. Whatever you do do not take a birthday cake. I was spoken to so rudely by this woman even though another member of staff had whisked the cake away when we arrived. As it was my daughters birthday I didn?t make a fuss.In response. When we arrived at your pub an extremely nice gentleman took the cake box off me. I explained it was for my daughters birthday that we didn?t want any fuss or candles and could we have it after our meal. You were so rude to me when I asked if we could have the cake, if your policy had been explained and the cake not taken off me then I would have complied with your wishes. I re-iterate that I didn?t respond to your rudeness in any way - I was quite astonished at how you spoke to me. On hind sight we should have taken the 12% service fee off the bill however that would have been petty as all the staff who served us were polite and efficient. Its a pity that as a team you clearly do not communicate had thisbeen the case then this issue would not have arisen Quite frankly I did not appreciate the way you chastised me. I suggest you re-think your attitude to your patrons after all we are paying your bills.

Ze zijn gefocust op het restaurant en het hotel gedeelte hangt er een beetje bij. De kamer is erg klein, met een kort bed waar ik niet helemaal in paste en ik ben maar 1.80m. De kamer was echt een muizeholletje. Een douchecabine waar je net inpast en geen beenruimte bij de wc. Ook waren het servies en bestek vies. De koffiepot waarin de koffie werd geserveerd, stuk en vies.

We had a great Sunday roast dinner here a couple days ago. The chicken and steak pies were very tasty. The puddings were great. I like how this place has a very local feel. The service was very friendly.

Fantastic friendly and helpful service.My partner and I popped in for a bite to eat and accidentally ended up spending the entire evening here. Very relaxed atmosphere. We were made to feel extremely welcome.Would definitely stop here again next time we?re in the area.Just far enough from the green that it wasn?t packed with tourists. A number of locals were drinking here - a mark of confidence from those who know?

Came here for the Sunday roast, it was delicious!!! The place is lovely and and service is good and fast.Parking can be tricky, there?s parking just a few blocks down the road, and as it is in the center, it can be quite busy.

Beautiful pub in a secret street away from the most touristy parts of Bourton. A real jem, great service, sat outside in the late afternoon sunshine. ? The wallpaper in the toilet was amazing as well!Nearby activities: The water is the best, loved by dogs and children alike. But also Birdland and a quick drive to Cotswold Safari Park.

Booked a table for 2 waited 10 minutes to be seated ,waited another 20 minutes no service, eventually gave up ,really disappointed spoiled a birthday meal ,so annoyed ?

Excellent service and delicious sunday roast. Is the best we get at this village. The cheesecake is nice and creamy,a good end to our awesome sunday roast.. highly recomended,do try the lamb if you like lamb. Thank you so much for the good service and excelent meal.
