We visited Bourton on the Water and came across the Old Manse pub. It looked inviting and sold my favourite beer, Abbots Ales. We stayed for a meal and enjoyed the atmosphere.

We went for lunch on a Thursday, when they had a special offer on steak! It was delicious, quickly served and a great price! Lovely place!

Beautiful location beside the river, shops and places of interest. My room was immaculate with a lovely view of small, honey-coloured cottages. I was travelling by myself and all the staff were super friendly and helpful.My breakfasts were exactly what I ordered and delicious. I have had a really lovely short break and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great pub and lovely staff, but the worst Sunday roast we have ever had. We had the beef, it was so tough and dry we had to ask for steak knives to cut it. I gave up and left half of my meat. Very disappointed for the £16 price per roast dinner

Good draft/craft beers from a local brewery and food was great too. Cosy atmosphere, friendly staff. Perfect location by the river to sit outside, dog friendly inside and out.

We stopped in Bourton on the Water a few days ago and after a wander into the village we decided to have lunch at The Old Manse Hotel.I can gladly say that it was a great experience. Food was tasty and well presented and all the staff was friendly and polite, with special mention to Cristina, who was lovely. We will definitely come back into the village and we will definitely visit your pub again.

Had a meal over the bank holiday weekend and the service was second to none ,on arrival keelan was there to greet us and seat us straightaway ,food was lovely and pricing was fab ,thank you keelan your an asset to the business and I hope your boss knows that

Coeliacs avoid! I ordered a gluten free caeser salad, it states 'lettuce, chicken, non gluten croutons and parmesan in a caeser dressing' what arrived was an entire head of baby gem lettuce, a dry chicken breast and 2 lettuce leaves with a dash of dressing. When I asked the man behind the bar he then gave me more dressing, but I'm still annoyed I paid £14 for a head of lettuce and a bit of chicken. It's hard enough being a coeliac.

We had the lamb shank and it was lovely, especially the gravy. We sat outside and had a nice view of the little shops and pubs around bourton-on-the-water.

Our room was very old looking definitely in need of refurbishment. The bathroom was extremely small, the shower was clogged and the soap was not replenished.
Additionally no signal in the establishment and of course no WiFi?
The location was great though in the heart of the town which made it convenient to go around walking. And a free parking was available to guests. The staff of the hotel was very friendly.
All and all considering that it was not super cheap I?m not sure if it?s good value for money. Happy that we only had one night there.

I asked for a burger it was not served right and the French fries were served cold . One of the lady staff wasn?t welcoming as well when I ordered food. It is not as I expected it to be. Came back after 3 years hoping for the same first experience I had but sadly o was disappointed.
