Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Would highly recommend the tasting menu in Atrium - this was amazing. The dishes were fabulous and our waitress was so helpful and knowledgeable. The staff throughout the hotel were brilliant. We can?t wait to return.

What an amazing place! Lovely bedroom with massive bed. The hotel is spotless. The staff are really friendly, professional and polite. The hotel has a "Homely" feeling to it which makes it so relaxing. We are looking so forward to visiting again. Thank you so much!

Two restaurants, one serving tasting menu only (Weds to Sun) the other more casual with a good a la carte menu. Extensive, and imaginative wine list . Country house atmosphere in an outstanding location, with extensive grounds. Excellent staff. No lift but many ground floor rooms. Worth getting on their mailing to be notified of events and special offers.Rooms: A good range of rooms from standard but very comfortable to deluxe rooms and suites.Walkability: In the picturesque village of Upper Slaughter, in the middle of the Cotswold. Walks are abundant and maps available from reception

Had a ?made it to 2024? celebratory lunch in the restaurant, with a short walk in this charming location. Reservations were responsive, polite and helpful; the food and drinks were exquisite. We had wild mushroom arancini with truffle mayonnaise; glazed aubergine main dish, Eton Mess and sticky toffee pudding. Absolutely top-notch. Service was friendly and efficient. Regarding discretionary gratuities, we have no complaint about these being added to the bill, even at 12.5% which is quite normal for high-class establishments. Knowing how the catering industry is struggling at present we are happy for this to show our appreciation of the lovely staff. The meal was not cheap but still worth it. NB - 10% discount for January! The 8-acre hotel grounds are beautifully designed and cared for. We?ll be back!

I recently celebrated a special occasion at the restaurant. The afternoon tea was exquisite. The service was professional. The views from the manor house were superb and, after the tea, we enjoyed a wonderful stroll in the gardens. However, even if a place like this should deserve a 5 star rating, I am obligated to deduct two stars because of two faux pas (and I never ever make an exception with these circumstances): (1) the restaurant decided unilaterally to include a generous tip in the bill and, even worse, (2) I was asked if I wanted to eliminate the tip if I had not been fully satisfied with the service. No need to say that I felt twice insulted. This kind of businesses should know better that appreciation is something customers grant at their own free will.

My wife and I stayed for one night to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The whole experience was outstanding. We dined in the Atrium. Charles Smith is worthy of a Michelin star. Incredible experience. Waiting staff are knowledgeable, attentive and invisible all at the same time.Would definitely return.Rooms: We stayed in a garden view room. Spacious and luxurious. Great shower that can accommodate two.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon & had the most wonderful experience. The staff here is unmatched. Every single individual we interacted with was personable, professional and went above and beyond. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It's in a beautiful cotswolds location, perfect for country walks but also easily accessible to Stow and Bourton. The food & drinks were also a treat. We had dinner here every night and enjoyed everything we had.We highly recommend staying here!

A beautiful Manor House hotel located in a small village in the Cotswolds. Lots of history with stunning gardens and spacious, charming rooms. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and upgraded our room on arrival. Relaxing lounges to chill out and play some games before a delicious three course A la carte dinner. Finally after a delightful sleep a mouth-wateringly cooked breakfast was delivered to our room to enjoy at our leisure. 10/10 thanks guys?..

Popped in for an afternoon tea. Setting is very nice, great welcoming staff, and scones are delicious! Only negative would be to provide a bit more clotted cream.Dog friendly too which is great

Came here on a Monday for our anniversary lunch. Welcomed by friendly staff on reception who knew it was our anniversary and wished us well. Ditto the barman. Had the fixed price three course menu. Really excellent locally sourced food at a reasonable price. Restaurant not overly busy but good attentive service from waiting team who were happy to accommodate our requests. After lunch we had time to explore the delightful grounds and the walled garden and the gardener was happy to elaborate on the helpful notice boards he?d put up. Highly recommended.
