Love this museum and visited it 3 or 4 times now each time we are in the area. Can highly recommend a visit. Very well thought out displays and has a very nice feel and atmosphere to the whole place. And Dog friendly which is a big plus.

Nice view of history along the river. If you watched Brum when you were younger this is the building it all starts from.Cramped but friendly staff and the gift shop sells good car themed goods

I only had half an hour to spare before my bus home, so I quickly popped in to see Brum and I did not regret it. What a beautiful museum! I just wish I'd had longer to look around, but I still managed to have a quick look through each room and I will definitely be back for a longer visit. The collections of toy cars are absolutely incredible. And it was so lovely to see Brum.

Choice of grandson to visit for his fifth birthday with his whole family, three generations, cousins, uncles and aunts etc. We all enjoyed it. My umpteenth visit (grandad). So glad he likes old cars.Made very welcome; one of volunteers sang 'happy birthday ' when he heard.Great fun. Visited soon after opened on a Sunday and was quiet. By time we were leaving getting busier.

What an amazing little museum. It's old and full from floor to ceiling with historical motoring paraphernalia. Sadly, as I walked around, I began to notice things that I recognised. Yes, it made me feel rather old.It would possibly take you about one hour to complete the tour, but don't rush.Check out the lables attached to some of the exhibitions as they give you a bit of an invite to the original owners of some of the vehicles. Some of these have superb stories to tell.

Can the museum please update Google of their closure please? We visited from Cambridgeshire today with relatives in the motor industry from Australia who were very keen to visit. Whilst we didn't visit your website the Google page displayed when we originally clicked on your venue from Google Maps is still displaying your premises as open between 10am and 6pm. To say we were all devastated would be a huge understatement.

An interesting place to visit for its collection of cars, models and some recreations of village scenes such the blacksmith's workshop. There are some unusual and interesting cars in the collection, but also some gaps, with some makes and/or models not represented. There are also lots of displays about the CSMA, perhaps at the expense of other subjects. There is a lot of "stuff" on display, including petrol pump tops, maps and other signs. Wort a visit.

Really loved this place. Very quirky, but as a history and car fan it was really interesting. It's characterful and charming. One of the areas has an authentic 'smell' which was a bit overpowering, but the time passed there was very enjoyable.Keep in mind this is a smaller older museum, but is individual with some great stories such as the motorbike where one of the original owners realised it used to be his and left a note as to its history.

Lovely place to take the kids. It's not too big so you can be done in an hour, or you can take your time. There's little play stations in each room to distract the kids for a few minutes so adults can appreciate the collections. There's a quiz (I would say too difficult for kids) to do as you go round which adds an extra fun element. There's a lovely little garden area about halfway through with a few little cars for the kids to play in and run around to give them a break. No parking but there's a big car park just a 5-minute walk away. Affordable, takes card payment. Lovely town overall. Really recommend ??

This museum is absolutely crammed to the gills with transportation-themed artifacts from the first half of the 20th century. Lots to see for kids and adults of all ages and worth the money. Many nice old automobiles and even caravans (trailers), but I was somewhat disappointed that the collection of autos wasn't more extensive. Didn't see too many from late 40s or early 50s.

We spent over an hour, drooling over these amazingly well preserved exhibits. Very well presented and documented in their decades. Nostalgia is evoked with the written comments, video footage, often aided with images of TV characters and associated lifestyle items relating to toys, sport, fashion, household decor. Very well thought out. Well worth exploring!
