Went for the buffet - plenty of great options available, especially for me as I am veggie. Also worth noting is the bar had a good range of beers and a cider on tap. Highlight for me was the bombay aloo! Staff were friendly and the place is very clean and spacious. Will definitely be returning.

Another wonderful evening spent with friends at the Saffron Lounge ? We can?t fault the food, so tasty, fresh, and nicely presented. The staff are all welcoming, humorous and attentive to your needs.
Portions are a good size, nice range of vegetarian options as well as meat and the food is always hot and non greasy.
Lovely atmosphere throughout the restaurant. Highly recommended, it?s worth the journey for a quality experience ?
Vegetarian options: Highly recommend the Paneer Malaya?.beautiful!

Came here with the family Friday 18th October 2024. There was 6 of us all thought the food was lovely, received the bill which didn't make any sense, all items were added some taken away then added again further down the bill, asked for a proper itemised bill which was told would see what they could do. Was trying to charge me for more drinks than we actually had, questioned it again took the bill away came back with another price then offered to round it off a total of £23.87 lower than the original bill. Said about being ripped off, wasn't worried about what the cost was just didn't want to be ripped off or pay for something I didn't have. They replied they don't Intentionally try to rip anyone off, very strange response ? almost admitting something.
Staff very rude, owner was their that night and was hiding away in embarrassment as we see him when leaving.
Think anyone dining here should Scrutinise their bill !!

Great food! I have only ordered takeaways so far, and they are always delivered quickly and the food is piping hot. I can?t recommend them enough for a delicious Indian meal.

Visited by chance as we were in the area. Thought the food was great. I had a Chicken Tikka Pathia with Keema Rice and Keema and Rice Naan. Great service very friendly great flavours. Just disappointed there was no option for a Ceylon curry. My curry had bits of cucumber in it which I thought was unusual and not like any of the ones I've had in Birmingham. It was still very nice and recommended.
