Love this spot as a treat on our cycles. Good space, good options and friendly service. The waffles are great. It is on the pricey side but lovely nonetheless. Also easy and comfy to work from.

Black Gold is lively, inviting and friendly. The food and drinks are really good, and the staff are helpful, cheerful and welcoming. It's a great place for coffee and cake, or light lunches - either eating in, or to take away - we love their jacket potatoes! We thoroughly recommend Black Gold.

Just had a delicious jacket potato with coleslaw and cheese which came with a huge salad.
I love coming to this place. The staff are always so friendly and accommodating. The food is always prepared fresh and you can tell that it is plated with thoughtfulness.

Visited today for a late lunch. Friendly staff and always welcoming. Ordered drinks and food. Big portion sizes and the food tasted delicious. 10/10 for presentation! Will definitely be back

First time visit for me to Black Gold in Gotherington Lane Bishops Cleeve and I loved it. I was able to hold my business meeting there and it will now be my regular meeting place. The service was first class along with a superb choice of light meals and a vast range of drinks.

Met a friend for coffee only so cannot comment on the food. Friendly staff, plenty of parking, nice seating area outside as well as seats inside

Unfortunately very understaffed with a long wait for drinks. Very expensive for no air conditioning in the building with long waiting times for simple orders (not the staffs fault, obviously the staffing!). The new no dog policy means that I am unlikely to now pop in for a drink.
