A most enjoyable lunch. The gammon was probably the best I'd had in a long time. Perfectly cooked, perfectly presented and served with a smile and a genuine desire that all should ok.

This is a great place to stop for the weary traveller. Great food at very reasonable prices, and great hosts too. I would highly recommend The Highwayman Inn to anyone travelling North on the A417.

Was passing on the way home from the air tattoo show, popped in here & what a lovely friendly place, most welcoming the food was absolutely delicious. Well recommended.

Been driving past this place for at least 30 years. Finally came in... and it's fantastic! Warm welcome, amazing old building, lovely food, and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Do drop in if you're passing.

Exelent pub full of carictor landlord was amazing shared a lot of history about the pub sorry we missed the menu times but there were a table and the food looked wonderfull and they looked like they were enjoying it .would love to try the pan fried liver but you are so spoilt for choice .would recommend anyone that's heading on A417 419 between birdlip and Swindon to stop and go in and say hello

We'd tried a few pubs for Sunday lunch on our way back from Kidderminster, and all were too busy. Then, as we joined the A417, we saw a sign saying Highwayman Inn, next turn...so we followed it.
Boy, are we pleased we did!
A beautiful pub with really friendly staff, and a great atmosphere with everyone talking and laughing.
Proper home cooked food, which was plentiful and delicious.
It's exactly as pubs should be. Good beer, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere.
If you're in the area, this pub is a must. You won't be disappointed.
Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian dishes on the menu, like homemade nut roast and macaroni cheese.
