Lovely traditional country pub with log fire. Great selection of beers and menu. Thanks to the landlord advising on a large cheese and ham ploughman's to share.

Delicious Sunday Roast and friendly staff

Lunch at the Carpenters Arms was disappointing after reading so many positive reviews. The roasts were tired and the vegetables were overcooked. The cider was excellent, however, and the service was good (we managed to get a couple of extra pieces of crackling for instance).

Landlord went out of his way and made me and my husband a lovely pot of tea which I could not purchase anywhere else in the village. Very much appreciated and would certainly return when next in the area. Extremely helpful and obliging. Thank you once again.

Beautiful location and really friendly and welcoming old pub. Beer great, food ok. No parking, toilets could do with updating and slightly expensive if I was to be critical

I ate here quite some time ago (over 6 months) for my birthday. The staff brought me out birthday cake and me and my family had a delicious roast dinner. I've been meaning to review as I was so thrilled with my Sunday dinner. (Sorry kept forgetting) we will be back soon. Just recommended you guys on a local FB site for your fab roast dinners.

Me and some girls where doing a sponsored walk and we stopped off at The Carpenters Arms for a well needed rest. Everyone was super friendly and we all got given bags of sweets to keep us going!!

Best pub in England! Food was good and people were friendly. Hey Kevin, please tell Pat that 'm sorry we didn't make it for music, and please tell Jane that the lake walk was lovely, and so was our chat. Nice to have met you all. Cheers!

The Carpenters Arms in Miserden is a charming, quintessentially British pub nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds. The rustic, cozy atmosphere complements its picturesque surroundings, making it a perfect spot for both locals and visitors. The menu offers a delightful array of classic pub fare with a modern twist, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Service is warm and friendly, enhancing the overall experience.

Very busy and although they were short staffed, we were not in a hurry and had some fab cheesy chips, cider and there was live music in the garden too!!
