The last review about being allowed on site almost put me off but I followed the signs to reception and was welcomed in. The soup and sandwich was fantastic and well needed after a long morning walk. Highly recommended!

Took an elderly friend knowing there would be good access to tables and toilets. It was so lovely here today. Friendly staff, chilled atmosphere and the food was fabulous! I had a rainbow salad with panko chicken and satay sauce and a side of loaded chips. My friend had the student special. Colourful, tasty, hearty portions. Tea, coffee and two cakes for later and the bill came to £40! Gorgeous setting, easy parking, obviously the ethos of the venue is applauded too. Thank you! We'll be back!

Didn?t want my review to negatively reflect the cafe as it?s a lovely concept and the food/ service was great. However I had a bad experience as a walker on the Cotswold Way. There is a sign on the trail pointing to the cafe/ welcoming walkers but every staff member either yelled at me or was quite stressed that I was on the campus. I completely understand the safety reasons behind this but they need to update their signage or close the cafe to walkers if that is now the rule.

We had a breakfast bap with sausage patties and a fried egg and a hot choc and tea and wow amazing....the egg was perfect and everything was so tasty ...they couldn't do enough for us and the students delivered the food quickly and we're very friendly and professional...

Good place for lunch whilst walking the Cotswold Way and good to support this project. They were only serving the light bites menu rather than the full lunch menu which was a bit disappointing, and the coffee machine was broken. Good value for money.

What a great place, stumbled across it walking the Cotswold Way. Lunch was the best on the trip. Great prices great service and GREAT cake. They even found a place for our dripping wet...sopping wet stuff !

Really great cafe with a wide range of food choices. Good value and excellent service. We were doing the Cotswolds Way and it was in a good location for our lunch. There is good ambiance and the tables are available both in and outside. We definitely recommend this place.

Fabulous lunch! We took advantage of the asparagus 'specials' on the menu to celebrate the start of the local asparagus season. I ordered poached eggs with asparagus, neither of which are the easiest of foods to cook and get right at the best of times, but these were prepared and cooked to perfection and were so beautifully presented on the plate. Star Bistro is a delightful, friendly and hugely competent food venue - would 100% recommend.

A nice and relaxed atmosphere to play Lego, drink coffee and eat cake. We came to the Star Bistro for coffee but the lunch menu looked great too.

Went to a Quiz night at National Star Bistro. An amazing night. Very entertaining. Food was excellent and staff were very attentive, a fun night was had by all.

Star Bistro never disappoints! The service is always served with a warm welcome and smiles, staff consistently go above and beyond without hesitation! The food, both cold and hot, is amazing and so affordable! It is extremely family friendly, I took my little boy as they were loaning Lego for only £2.50 which they had set up on trays, the kids could choose which they wanted and have fun building! Can?t wait until next time!

Delicious food - we had breakfast baps with Quorn sausage, fried egg and hash brown. We went during Half Term and there were Lego kits to borrow for the kids - my son and his friend loved these! Also nice selection of cold drinks, cakes and snacks alongside tea and coffee. Plenty of party and beautiful setting. Will definitely be back!
