thoughtful i had a service and mot carried out as i am on oxygen 24/7 they were very helpful in prioritising to minimise my waiting time

came to Halfords this morning (30/08/2025) as had a flat tyre, a gentleman was being seen before him and I heard the Halfords employee being rude.. when he came to serve me he just nodded his head without saying so much as a good morning or how can I help so I left. I went straight to Kingswood Tyre & Service and they replaced the tyre immediately for £75. Do not recommend Halfords, inflated prices and terrible customer service.

The car blew a flat and the nearest place was Halfords went there and was told that they do not replace tyres unless they are pre booked with them and you have to make an appointment. Unfortunately the flat came when I was not expecting it to happen to us. They will up charge if they have the tyre in the shop ultimately they will suggest other companies that ate better than them and cheaper.

Strongly recommend this Halfords autocentre. I was previously being seen by a different garage more local to me but was still experiencing problems with my car after getting work done, so decided to try somewhere new. My car was seen by Dan and Martin who took a look at my car and explained my issues in a way I could understand and guided me through what I should do next. Greatly appreciated the honesty and thorough explanations, which is what I was lacking from my previous garage. Really happy to find a new garage that I can feel comfortable walking into and know that I am getting a good and honest job. Strongly recommend this garage if you are like me and lacking car knowledge, as you can sometimes feel like you are being taken advantage of. Thank you!

The guys at Halfords are always helpful and friendly and go above and beyond to help. I am a neighbour to the garage and find them consistently helpful considerate and supportive. It is super useful having them so nearby. Liam and Richard are my go to advisors when problems occur.

Halfords at kingswood are just Brill. I'm a bit of a girlie when it comes to cars but at no time did the staff treat me any different to a knowledgeable guy.

Strongly recommend! I took my car in to get a minor issue looked at. Martin took the time to look at other issues and his advice saved me thousands. He didn't charge a penny. I've had work done here before and the service was great. Will will be revisiting when needed.
