Visited for drinks last night, went to order a second round of drinks which would?ve come to about £40 but just asked to have pineapple juice from a big carton rather than the glass bottles as a friend has allergies which I do not know the specifics of. I would?ve happily paid for a bottle of pineapple juice but the manager wouldn?t let me. She actually got quite aggressive and was shouting at me over the bar so we went elsewhere.
Shouldn?t have drinks on display that aren?t for sale and regardless of whether it was allergies or preference the person in question could have had a preference due to being neurodivergent. Crazy that a simple request was responded to with such hostility to be honest. I?m a very polite person and was in high spirits until that interaction.
In response to the owners response (which explains a lot if they are setting the standard to their managers) I did explain at the bar that I didn?t know the reason for not being able to drink pineapple juice from a can or bottle and was just trying to get my friend something I knew she would be able to drink, which I know she can drink pineapple juice from a carton. The manager might not have heard me explain this because she wasn?t allowing me to talk and was just aggressively talking over me.
You couldn?t pay me to step foot in this pub again tbh and I?ll be leaving a review on trip advisor now too. Good luck and all the best for the future x

Love coming to this pub! Great value for money. Great selection of drinks too, caters for beers, cocktails and wine. But the best part are the people. The waitress Victoria always knows our drinks choices and so attentive. We feel very welcomed and looked after. Big thank you to Victoria and white hart team

Came here for a 50th wedding anniversary with 11 people. Food was amazing, service was very good with Tia and Ellie. Highly recommend

Really noisy rooms. You can hear people talking downstairs in the bar and once the pub closes you can hear people talking in their rooms

I had a wonderful experience at this nice and cozy pub! The selection of beers is impressive, making it a great spot to unwind with a drink. I want to give a special shoutout to our waitress, Victoria. Her service was excellent?so friendly and heartfelt that she truly made our day. It?s the staff like Victoria that create such a beautiful atmosphere here. I highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for a relaxing place to enjoy great drinks and even better service!

Great stuff always remember drinks even for my forgetful 77 year old dad. We come back every week for a great selection of beers, hearty food and great service. Shout out to Victoria for making us feel welcomed every time. Thank you to the whole team!
