What an amazing experience. The staff are truly welcoming even when I mentioned to one of the staff a close friend of mine Ali Kingston passed away they were so comforting it was a great joy ! Honestly big up kwikfit Witham and big up their workers.

I came into the Witham kwik fit today with my Mercedes A45 for an MOT. I originally went to Maldon on the 9th August 2025 but due to my car having a front splitter, their ramps wouldn't allow my car up so they recommend Witham as their ramps are flat on the ground. My appointment was 10.45am which I'd booked online on the weekend. However, on arrival when I checked in with one of the staff, I was told there was no booking for my car. I spent 10 minutes proving to them with every text message and email I had received with confirmation and reminders of my appointment today just for them to blame the online team for not calling the store and informing them the booking never went through. I am 6 months pregnant and had my 3 year old son with me so this stress wasn't needed. Eventually he booked me in and said it would be brought into the garage in the next 10 minutes. I had to ask roughly how long it would take and he said 45 minutes or so. I then went up the road to tesco to get something to eat and returned half an hour later. I then saw my car being revved up and down the kwik fit car park by a staff member. The staff member behind the desk informed me they're doing the roll test as my car wouldn't get on the machine to do it so he had to manually do it. This made me feel uncomfortable as it wasn't explained to me, yet I'd returned to see my car being revved and drove up and down thinking who is driving my car. Surely this should have been a heads up for me? They then drove it to the front of the garage and parked it up. I then had to wait another 20 minutes for them to bring the paperwork and keys over. The staff member then left it on the side and walked off, leaving my personal details face up on the desk for any person to see. This should be data protection and they never considered this. As I was still waiting, I looked on the Gov website to check out the status of my MOT to find it failed due to the passenger wing mirror light not working. The man advised me i have 10 days to retest the MOT as my existing one expires 22nd August 2025, but that's in 8 days. Their policy is a free retest if brought back in before the end of the next working day which means I will now have to pay for another MOT at roughly £50 on top of what i already have paid. This isn't good service. On the way home, my car went into limp mode, every single light came up on my dash board. My car is a 4 wheel drive but the 4matic turned off and the ABS system shut off. My car suddenly stopped driving faster than 10MPH and wouldn't turn at all. The steering wheel was stuck. Luckily I'd got out of the country lanes, it has scared me to think what would have happened being heavily pregnant with a toddler if I broke down in the country lane. As I pulled up in my street, driving down the road 10MPH with hazards on, I called Kwik Fit Witham at 12.11pm to see what exactly they did with my car as before it went in, nothing was wrong with the car and had no issues but since picking it back up, everything has gone wrong. The man who answered was extremely rude, told me it was only an MOT and nothing was plugged in, I then asked for him to speak to my partner as I was very flustered and stressed and I needed to calm down due to being heavily pregnant, when my partner tried to speak to them, kwik fit hung up the phone. I found that extremely rude and unprofessional. They never even called back or made any attempt to help. Due to this, I will not be returning to their garage and it has put me off completely having anything to do with a kwik fit. The mannerism, unprofessional attitudes and rudeness was disgusting today and obviously did something to my car and left me drive it unsafely with a minor and being pregnant. I have escalated this to head office now.
